As if their fearless leader leading the pack of nominations for the 2021 MTV VMAs isn’t enough to trumpet, the Rap diva sizzled on the latest cover of ‘Essence’ while teasing her ‘aggressive’ sophomore album inside its pages.

Ahead of the latter’s arrival, Stallion’s tiding her followers over by revisiting and refreshing one of her previously viral freestyles.  The revamped take on the Lil Ju production, now titled ‘Outta Town,’ hit the Web Thursday (August 12) alongside its official music video and sees a makeup-free Meg talk her sh*t like only she can.

“I love to shit on these n- – – -s / I love to piss off a b*tch,” she declares in the freestyle’s first lines before later proclaiming, “They should call me Dr. Miami because I bodied them.”

Out of the blue, Blac Chyna took to Twitter Monday (August 2) to allege Tyga – her GRAMMY-nominated ex-boyfriend and the father of her oldest child – enjoyed the company of transgender women.

While some perceived the random announcement as an attempt to embarrass the ‘Taste’ rapper (and validate years of rumors that have plagued him), most found the revelation distasteful – a widely shared stance that ended in backlash for Blac Chyna (as we reported here).

As the hoopla from the incident continued well into the week, now the model-turned-reality star is denying she ever made the statement.

Normani‘s latest single, ‘Wild Side,’ has been deemed a winner by many, a feat underscored by its initial sales performance on digital and streaming outlets.

But while some laud the Tanu Muino-directed music video for its eye-popping visuals and high octane choreography, others have argued the visual is damaging to queer progression – even suggesting it intentionally straddles the line of pandering to heterosexual male fantasies and promoting performative lesbianism to bait members of the LGBT community who identify as such.
