Justin Bieber says he doesn’t take sexual assault lightly – especially when he’s been accused of being an offender.
Over the weekend, the Pop pin-up found his name at the center of a Twitter storm when an anonymous account published a story on the platform alleging he sexually abused her in 2014.
A fiery inferno erupted – with one corner praising the “bravery” of the alleged victim and another vigorously defending Bieber.
Now, the singer is stepping up to clear his name. And he’s doing so with a stacked-pack of receipts.
As previously reported, celebrities are using their platforms to speak out about social injustice – echoing the outrage of many across the United States after the filmed death of an unarmed Minnesota Black man – George Floyd – at the hands of local police.
Though terminated from their positions at the police precinct (as we reported here), many notable figures – including the likes of Madonna, Janet Jackson, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Mary J. Blige, Naomi Campbell, and more – are calling for men responsible to be arrested and charged for the incident.

Demi Lovato believes its time to cancel the concept of cancel culture, as revealed in a recent interview on Jameela Jamil‘s ‘I Weigh’ podcast.
Taking to the platform just a week after she made headlines for allegedly using a secret Instagram account to slam friend-turned-foe Selena Gomez (click here to read about that), Lovato addressed the massive fallout from the incident – #DemiLovatoisOverParty.
The hashtag swelled to over 100,000 tweets on Twitter Friday (April 17), prompting the GRAMMY winner to turn off comments on her social media handles.
Now, she’s speaking out about the backlash and weighing in on cancel culture at large. Hear her comments inside:
As Rihanna fans, affectionately called #TheNavy, impatiently wait for new music from the diva, they’re eating up anything she’s attached to in the process. Case in point? Her feature on PartyNextDoor‘s ‘Believe It.’
The song, which serves as the latest single from his third studio album, ‘PARTYMOBILE’ (released March 27), is the first original material released by Rih since her guest spot on N.E.R.D‘s moderate 2017 hit, ‘Lemon.’
Making an impressive #23 debut on this week’s Hot 100, ‘Believe’s arrival’ marks the end of her longest break ever from the chart as she’s had a top 40 hit in every year since her 2005 debut up to 2017. Of course, leave it to the Grammy winner-turned-fashion-icon to return in major fashion.

The iHeartRadio Music Awards may be one of the music industry’s youngest award shows, but that doesn’t mean it packs any less punch than some of Hollywood’s standard showings – especially on the nominations front.
Set to honor some of 2019’s biggest movers and shakers, the 2020 rendition of the annual ceremony – hosted at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, CA – will take place on Sunday, March 29. As Nicki Minaj celebrates her 37th birthday, what better time than the present to salute the hit song responsible for turbo-charging the success of the prolific Rap Queen.
Today’s From The Vault pick is the ever-booming ‘Super Bass.’
Released in 2011, the tune was penned by Minaj alongside Ester Dean – who also sings its catchy chorus.
The Hip-Pop number helped shape the career of the rapper as a crossover artist.
‘Super Bass’ was Nicki’s first of many worldwide Top 10’s – peaking at #3 in the US, #8 in the UK and #6 in both Canada and Australia.
The track’s video was directed by Sanaa Hamri. A colorful affair, it saw Onika and her girls engaging in playful choreography and eyeing up muscled eye-candy. The glow-in-the-dark scene remains one of Minaj’s most memorable visuals moments to date.
‘Bass’ bagged an MTV Video Music Award for Best Hip-Hop Video during that year’s ceremony and as of today has been viewed over 800 million times on YouTube.
Following co-signs from Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, this song was inescapable to the masses and really put Ms Maraj on the map. While many have criticised its pop leanings, it undoubtedly elevated Nicki to a level not many (if any) femcees had reached before and was the beginning of a new era for the genre.

No matter how it’s diced or sliced, Nicki’s influence on the music industry this decade has been undeniable. From her sound to her aesthetic, she has served a key player in the Pop cultural landscape and single handedly brought the female rap game back to life on mainstream scale.
Hopefully her current time off helps her recenter so she can go back to doing what she does best: crafting music’s most delicious bops akin to this.
Selena Gomez‘s highly anticipated return to stage, a career-spanning showing from Taylor Swift, and commemorative performance from Toni Braxton were undoubtedly among the draws that lured viewers into this year’s Ciara-hosted American Music Awards.
Yet, not even their combined star power (alongside stage-blazing performances from chart-toppers Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Halsey, Lizzo, and more) were enough to save the 47th annual edition of the ceremony from its lowest ratings to date.
