Just 4 months after rendering her long-awaited, critically acclaimed sophomore album – ‘In My Defense’ – rapstress Iggy Azalea stunned with news she was already unwrapping its follow-up project, ‘Wicked Lips.’

Preceded by the Alice Chater-assisted single, ‘Lola,’ Iggy was originally scheduled to waste little time thereafter delivering the opus in full to hungry fans. Unfortunately, if the news Iggy Iggz is serving up is indeed fact, they’ll have to hold their appetites just a little longer.

Due to technical difficulty, the once November 15th-due set is now scheduled to arrive…

Thanks to content found aboard his latest effort, ‘INDIGO,’ R&B singer Chris Brown is seeing his name colored across Billboard charts in ways like never before.

As we reported here, the June-released set entered the Billboard 200 at #1, coming as his first title in seven years to do so (third overall).  Powered by a whopping 37 tracks (many of which charted upon the set’s debut), ‘INDIGO’s songs – as well as a slew of his features from the year – helped him reach 98 Hot 100 career entries.  The feat makes him the most charted male R&B artist in history.

Now, after seeing the album’s Drake-assisted cut, ‘No Guidance,’ guided all the way to top 5 glory on the same tally (as we reported here), Breezy is enjoying reports its follow-up – ‘Heat’ – is bringing the heat.  Cracking the top 40 on this week’s refreshed chart, the song’s entry into Billboard’s upper rankings comes as the 48th of his career.

Tamar Braxton is attempting to mop up the controversial comments she made about men who “don’t touch” their women.

For, the R&B belter received ample backlash from corners of the gay community for seemingly weaponising homosexuality.

Indeed, as reported, the ‘Love & War’ wailer took to Instagram “these dudes out here really do be gay. They want D*CK. PeriodT” 

She went on to add: “If he lays with you for 3, 4, 10 days and he don’t touch u, it’s not you. HE WANT A MAN. And that’s on my Momma!”

Beyond infuriating some groups, Braxton cast the cloud of doubt (and speculation) over her own relationship with Nigerian entrepreneur David Adesefo. 

Now, she’s elaborating and implies it was her ex-husband she was referencing…

Taylor Swift may be in the headlines for drama, but she looks to re-affix the focus on her music with new single ‘Beautiful Ghosts.’

The cut, which was written by Swift alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber, is lifted from the big screen adaptation of ‘CATS’ – which she stars in (as Bombalurina) alongside Jennifer Hudson, Judi Dench, James Corden, and Jason Derulo.

In the movie, due December 20th, the haunting number is performed by Francesca Hayward, who appears as Victoria. Swift’s version has nabbed the end credits spot.

Legendary songbird Celine Dion takes vocal flight on ‘Courage’ – her first English language album in six years.

Released via Columbia Records, the super-sized set proves the diva has lost none of her lustre, with soaring numbers such as ‘Flying On My Own,’ ‘Imperfections,’ and its title track (the video for which arrived this week).

Lyrically the project is notable in that it sees Dion bare her feelings following the 2016 passing of husband/manager Rene Angelil.

Khalid may be currently thrilling audiences on his ‘Free Spirit World Tour,’ in support of his sophomore (and first chart-topping) album, ‘Free Spirit,’ but the 21-year-old is still looking to keep audiences engaged with new music.

As we reported here, his latest bid to do so comes courtesy of new single, ‘Up All Night.’  Speaking on the cut, he revealed:

“‘Up’ is a song that I wrote while on tour,” said Khalid. “It’s really special to me and I’m so excited that I am able to share it with my fans so quickly. I’ve been touring the world, and interacting with my fans each night has been really inspiring. I’m working hard on some more new music to share with you guys soon!”

Taylor Swift just sent shockwaves through the music sphere and it centers on her on-going spat with two of music’s most powerful men.

In an open letter to fans, the Pop titan alleges that her ex label head Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun are preventing her from using her own songs for televised performances and in projects – after they brokered a deal for the catalogue. A deal that didn’t include her.
