If iTunes receipts are anything to judge by, Britney Spears and Tinashe fans are apparently snoozing on the divas’ duet, ‘Slumber Party.’

The tune – the latest lifted from Spears ill-fated 9th opus ‘Glory’ – saw its buzz reach a feverish pitch when its sexy, ‘Eyes Wide Shut’-inspired accompanying music video was unveiled.  That buzz, thanks to the AMAs and more, has quickly cooled and quelled after just three days.

DJ Mustard has a lot to smile about.

In a time when folk are questioning the existence of “super producers,” the California native is proving himself music’s go-to hitmaker.

Having crafted smashes for the likes of Rihanna, Fergie, and Tinashe, Mustard is spreading more of his magic in the form of new album ‘Cold Summer.’

Boasting collaborations with the likes of Nicki Minaj, John Legend, YG, and Rick Ross, that set has earned him praise aplenty.

Fifth Harmony are currently in the midst of a world tour, but they still have more magic on the horizon for their legion of Harmonizers.

This summer saw the quintet heat up the airwaves with ‘All In My Head (Flex).’ For the Fall, they aim to keep the pace pumping with third single ‘That’s My Girl.’

Penned by Tinashe, the track serves as the third single from the group’s sophomore album ‘7/27’ – which spurned the smash ‘Work From Home.’

To whet appetites for the song’s campaign, the ladies have unwrapped a brief but sweet teaser.

Much like her soaring pop tune ‘Roar’ scared off the competition upon its debut (namely Lady Gaga‘s ‘Applause’), Katy Perry’s Hot 100 dominance shows no signs of cooling if the sales performance of ‘Rise’ – her latest single – is any indication.

Released the same day as Britney Spears‘ highly anticipated new single, ‘Make Me (ft. G-Eazy),’ Perry’s Olympic-inspired tune certainly lived up to its title, not only giving rise to a friendly competition between her fans (#KatyCats) and Spears’ (#BritneyArmy), but also rising to the occasion with strong sales and streaming.

It’s that time of year again!

Indeed, the air is still buzzing as yesterday brought with it the highly anticipated 2016 Grammy nominations unveiled, per usual, via an announcement special weeks before the actual showing.  But, what also comes with the ‘per usual’ announcement are the jaw-dropping surprises, snubs, and all out “shut-outs” that accompany the annual spectacle.

Always a heated debate-starter, the coveted tally saw the likes of Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Rihanna, Madonna, and more all go without mention.

For Bieber, whose manager made headlines for his rant regarding his 2013 Grammy shutout, his long-awaited nod came this year as, otherwise, it would’ve been a fourth-go-round despite consistently clocking some of the year’s biggest hits.  Like the ‘What Do You Mean’ maestro, Scott has been very vocal about shut-outs in the past.  And, while Omarion‘s rant is the main protest making headlines, we’re sure many more are to come.

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 15th 2016 and will air live from Los Angeles’ Staples Centre armed with appearances by the likes of Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift and ‘Hotline Bling’ mastermind Drake.

Today, before its official nominations are unveiled on December 7th, the ceremony’s submission list has surfaced, revealing which artists and projects have been submitted by their representatives with hopes of nabbing nominations for them in categories that are relevant to them.

In 2013 the producer Soundz teamed up with the singer Ciara to create material for her Top 5 album ‘Ciara.’

In 2015, as he celebrates the release of his debut release ‘Slow Ain’t Dead’ the maestro has revealed that the Urban Pop belle Tinashe had called on him to replicate his success with the ‘Goodies’ star.
