…and the claws are out!

‘Old Town Road‘ hitmaker Lil Nas X rode to the top of headlines on Sunday (October 27) when he took to social media to clap back at fellow rapper Azealia Banks for randomly discussing his career trajectory.

Lil Nas X really fell off so hard. Lmfao that little c*ntrag swore she was the tea. B*tch has NO BARS,” she told her 154,000 followers on the platform.

As reported here, the 2x GRAMMY winner took little time hitting back at Banks – not only slamming her lack of commercial success but also branding the femcee a “botched body” chicken sacrificer.

Once his X (formerly known as Twitter) response reached her desk she launched into a tirade. See her fiery reaction inside.

Despite having a pretty quiet 2023 as he’s baking the follow-up to his 2021 debut studio album, ‘Montero,’ rapper-singer Lil Nas X is still managing to piss off the conservatives.

Having already caused uproar in the past for everything from selling “Satan shoes” to delivering racy award show performances, music videos deemed sacrilegious, and more, the chart-topping hitmaker (born Montero Hill) seems to always find a way to get on the group’s bad side.

Beyond most recently being the subject of admonishment from celebrities and critics alike for claiming he’s entering his “Christian era,” he’s also landed in the sights of the American Family Association (AFA).

Pink is setting the record straight and, true to form, the singer is not holding back.

Currently strutting the promotional trail in support of her new album ‘Trustfall,’ the airborne performer found herself flying into the headlines following a remark made about Christina Aguilera.

Over the years, the Pop rebel has made no secret about the tenseness that existed between her and Xtina dating back to the ‘Lady Marmalade’ video shoot.

In the time since the pair mended fences and have been complimentary about each other. Indeed, they appeared on shows together and even collaborated on an unreleased track

For some, though, it appears there’s drama anew after a recent comment Pink made in an interview about Aguilera and the ‘Marmalade’ experience. Comments some equate to her “shading” the belter.

Pink, however, is having none of it.

Boosie Badazz has a documented history of opposing the LGBT community.

When not slamming television networks for allegedly “making kids gay,” he’s courted backlash for constantly announcing his disapproval of the antics of openly gay music superstar Lil Nas X (even going as far as suggesting the GRAMMY winner engage in acts of self-harm).

Having also openly criticized Dwyane Wade in the past for “allowing” his daughter, Zaya Wade, to come out as transgender, the rapper’s statements on that topic landed him on the radar of the basketball legend’s wife, actress Gabrielle Union.

The ‘Being Mary Jane’ star went viral over the weekend for a clip that saw her clap back at Badazz for the things he’s said about Zaya, even inferring the emcee may be gay himself.

Needless to say, the insinuation didn’t sit well with him. Look inside to see how he responded.

21 Savage may be enjoying a love fest with his ‘Her Loss’ counterpart Drake as the two have landed atop this week’s Billboard 200 with the year’s biggest first-week sales for a Hip-Hop album, but a number of other emcees can’t exactly say they’ve been feeling the love from the Atlanta-reared rapper lately.

‘Panini’ performer Lil Nas X is pressed and bothered over not seeing his chart-topping work nominated in any category at this year’s BET Awards.

Once he discovered he was omitted from the list of nominees announced June 1, the 23-year-old took to social media in a tirade that saw him suggest his sexuality was among the reasons his hits ‘Call Me By Your Name,’ ‘That’s What I Want,’ and ‘Industry Baby’ were overlooked during categorical consideration.

Fans who thought his beef with BET had cooled were stunned to see him return to social media this week to tease a diss track aimed at the network.

‘Zoom’ hitmaker Boosie has been no stranger to zooming to the top of headlines over the last few years for unapologetically expressing his disdain for LGBTQ+ representation in media.

When not slamming networks for ‘turning kids gay’ with cartoons, he’s garnered backlash for openly criticizing basketball star Dwyane Wade for ‘allowing’ his daughter Zaya to come out as transgender, and so much more.  No bigger headline grab has come from the emcee than his beef with Lil Nas X, however, who he claims is ‘pushing’ a gay agenda on children.

For those remarks and many of that ilk, Boosie says a number of his Hip Hop peers have dissociated themselves from him – actions he believes resulted from the urging of their record labels.

Boosie Badazz is doubling down on his homophobic remarks about Lil Nas X.

The rapper has been defiant about his stance on the opening gay performer, claiming that his expression of pride should not be shown to children.

Boosie even threatened to “beat his a**” if he ever saw him perform naked at an award show.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club today, the controversial figure was grilled on his homophobic rhetoric.

But rather than take heed to the many corrections put to him by Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee, he reiterated them.

For many, Tamar Braxton is a polarizing figure in the LGBTQ+ community.

While some praise the GRAMMY-nominated songstress as an ally given her legion of gay fans as well as her adjacency to the culture evidenced by her mannerisms and vernacular, others have alleged her allyship is performative – citing her repeated history of using language that’s been deemed ‘insensitive’ and ‘homophobic.’

The latter was a term pelted the way of the R&B diva just this week as social media users clocked her response to anti-Lil Nas X commentary regarding his controversial BET Awards performance.

Lil Nas X has hit back at those slamming his raunchy performance at the BET Awards 2021.

The Pop provocateur wowed with an Egyptian-themed showing of his #1 hit ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name),’ which climaxed with a passionate kiss with one of his male dancers.

Since achieving breakout success with ‘Old Town Road,’ the 22-year-old has been open about his queerness and consistently championed the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.

And it’s clear that’s a trajectory that will continue.

Lil Nas X has emerged as quite the Pop polarizer.

For while some have hailed his unfiltered brand of expression, others have slammed it in earnest.

One person who is Team Montero, though, is none other than Nelly.

Speaking at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards, he showered the 22-year-old with praise – both in an interview and directly when their paths crossed backstage.
