Nearly three years after taking a seat atop album charts with her breakthrough opus, ‘Seat at the Table,’ singer/songwriter Solange introduced fans to its highly anticipated follow-up, ‘When I Get Home.’
Released with little warning on March 1 (click here to read more), the 19-track set – which features Playboi Carti, Tyler the Creator, Gucci Mane, and more – may have been billed a critical polarizer among fans but that didn’t stop them from rushing in droves to stream and purchase it. Just a day after its debut the LP soared to the top of iTunes’ sales tally (as we reported here).
