Nearly three years after taking a seat atop album charts with her breakthrough opus, ‘Seat at the Table,’ singer/songwriter Solange introduced fans to its highly anticipated follow-up, ‘When I Get Home.’

Released with little warning on March 1 (click here to read more), the 19-track set – which features Playboi Carti, Tyler the Creator, Gucci Mane, and more – may have been billed a critical polarizer among fans but that didn’t stop them from rushing in droves to stream and purchase it.  Just a day after its debut the LP soared to the top of iTunes’ sales tally (as we reported here).

Now, industry analysts have lifted their first official prediction for how the album will fare over the course of its entire inaugural sales week.  Curious to see how ‘Home’ is expected to stack up against ‘Table’s first week sales of 72,000?  Find out inside:

Wendy Williams made her grand return to her own show moments ago.

Cheered on by the capacity crowd, the TV maven ended a three-month hiatus from the hit series; a break initially blamed on health issues.

During her trademark Hot Topics segment, Williams didn’t shy away from the fact that her personal life has been on the lips of many.

Because while some subscribed to the “official” explanation provided for her absence, others speculated (rather loudly) that her much-debated marriage to husband Kevin Hunter may be the true root cause.

Despite ending their 7 year on-and-off again relationship in 2015, a home video of former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger and race car driver boyfriend Lewis Hamilton surfaced online last month.

The leaked two-and-a-half minute clip may not contain nudity, but it does show the two engaged in an “intimate embrace.”  Viewed over 600,000 times since its first appearance on the net, as of time reported it remains unclear how the visual made its way to the Web.  What is clear, however, is the 40-year-old songstress is not pleased with the hackers who committed the act.

Thanks to the successful inaugural season of Youtube Premium series, ‘Step Up: High Water,’ the Hip Hop dance show was green lit for a season 2 (due for a March 20 premiere).  Ahead of its return, Grammy-winning singer Ne-Y0 – who stars as “Sage” on the show – has lent his talent to its accompanying soundtrack with three high energy tunes.

The first, titled ‘Genesis,’ has been tapped to kick off the highly anticipated collection.  A New Jack Swing-inspired affair, Ne-Yo recently took to our friends at Billboard to discuss the motivation behind the song’s creation:

“My inspiration for the song was my character Sage’s arc and going back to his beginnings. The music and feel that inspired him to choose music over the streets. He loses his way and has to go back to his roots to find it,” he said.

As 2020 draws closer Democrats hoping to usurp Donald Trump and claim the White House find themselves under pressure to explain how a win for them means a win for groups the party has often used, abused and taken for granted.

One of these groups? The African-American community.

This month, a number of people fear candidate Kamala Harris has ruined her chances of winning after she insinuated that she wasn’t interested in creating policies designed specifically for the group’s benefit and would only do so if the fruit of those policies benefitted everyone.

Fair on paper, worrying in reality.

Why? The concern by many black voters that they are being asked, once again, to support a politician who prioritises everyone else but them.
