Katy Perry has proven herself the one to watch on ABC’s reboot of reality singing competition, ‘American Idol.’

The series, barely four episodes in, has already seen the ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ songstress linked to multiple controversies aboard the show – most notably an instance where she uncomfortably kissed a contestant without his consent.

Now, months after fans of Perry and one time nemesis Taylor Swift thought the two had buried the hatchet, some believe the former is reigniting the heat surrounding their beef with some “subtle shade.”

Although her latest single, ‘Savior,’ isn’t exactly proving itself to be the career savior fans originally pegged it to be, that hasn’t stopped Grammy-nominated rapstress Iggy Azalea from hitting the promo trail in its support.

Most recently spotted at BRAVO’s ‘Watch What Happens Live…With Andy Cohen,’ the saucy Aussie dished on everything from burning up ex-fiance Nick Young‘s clothes after learning of his infidelity to her thoughts on a number of other current events.

‘Rake It Up’ rapstress Nicki Minaj continues to rake in unsolicited praise from former foe Azealia Banks.

The latter, who’s since set her sights on rising rapstress Cardi B (even branding the ‘Bodak Yellow’ beauty a ‘poor man’s version of Minaj’), is undoubtedly using the attention to raise awareness about her long-awaited project, ‘Fantasea II:  The Second Wave.’ 

As the album is reportedly due this month, Banks took to Instagram to not only remind followers of what to expect, but also to inform about her position in the game overall.  Her comments – as always – got some tongues seriously wagging, especially when she commented on her influence of fellow femcees.
