Although The Weeknd‘s latest chart-topping EP only contained six songs, two of the cuts – ‘Call Out My Name’ & ‘Try Me’ (click here to watch) – have already been given the video treatment.

Now, just a day after learning the set will lead this week’s Billboard 200, the Grammy-winning crooner has gifted another of the project’s gems the video treatment:  ‘He Was Never There.’

Branded a “docupoem,’ the short-film gives fans a sneak peek into The Weeknd’s life behind the scenes and the flash of the lens while ‘There’ – which features French DJ Gesaffelstein (the only guest star on ‘Melancholy’) – plays in the background.

After dropping jaws with her rousing renditions of ‘Invasion of Privacy’ cuts ‘Be Careful,’ ‘Bodak Yellow,’ and ‘Bartier Cardi’ on last weekend’s ‘SNL’ (click here to watch), the rapstress continues her promo onslaught with an equally engaging performance on tonight’s episode of ‘The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.’

The Weeknd stunned fans last weekend with the surprise drop of his latest project, a six-song EP titled ‘My Dear Melancholy.’  To thank him, his faithful fanbase helped hoist the release – the follow-up to 2016’s chart-topping ‘Star Boy’ – to a similar height on the Billboard 200.

As we reported here, industry analysts predicted the set would shift at least 150,000 units its first full sales tracking week.  Now, with over 7 days of sales behind it, the Grammy winner should certainly be all smiles upon not only learning ‘Melancholy’ moved more units than projected, but also that it was crowned this week’s chart champion – selling almost three times that of its nearest competitor.

BET’s HBCU-inspired drama – ‘The Quad’ – may have earned mountains of praise for its suspenseful drama and engaging storylines, but those consistent wins on the critical front were not enough to keep the network interested in renewing the show for a season 3.

Cardi B‘s faithful fans, affectionately called #BardiGang, rejoiced when the rapstress took to ‘SNL’ this past weekend to finally reveal she was indeed with child (as had been rumored for weeks).

In a performance of her soon-to-be-hit tune ‘Be Careful,’ found aboard her April 6th released debut album, ‘Invasion of Privacy,’ the Grammy nominee donned a form fitting white dress to show off her baby bump – a feat that let the news announce itself (click here to watch if you missed it).  And, while her fans flooded her social media handles with well wishes, detractors certainly were singing different tunes.

In fact, according to the rapper herself, mostly women took to her Twitter and Instagram handles to slam her for opting to get pregnant before her career could reach its height.  When quizzed about the backlash during a recent sit down with Hot 97, Cardi did not mince words about her disappointment for the ongoing criticism.

Weaving tales of rage, romance and gleeful optimism is Nicki Minaj‘s debut album ‘Pink Friday.’

A clean and cohesive fusion of Hip-Hop, Pop & R&B, the set soared into the charts in the fourth quarter of 2010 and crushed sales figures scored by her rap peers (male and female) within the first month of its unveiling.

This week, as anticipation for her next studio album reaches fever pitch globally, the star has seen ‘Super Bass’ and  ‘Roman’s Revenge’ – the humorous track she penned to mock and blast Lil Kim, reach milestones that extend her lead as the highest-selling and most-streamed lady lyricist of all time.

‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ favorite Kandi Burruss has long stood by the statement: “don’t start nothing, won’t be nothing.”

And though castmate Kim Zolciak is well aware of this – it seems she required a refresher.

The pair have clashed on season 10 of the Bravo hit and off-camera via social media.

Fed up with Zolciak’s alleged jabs, Burruss served the ultimate clap-back and brought her receipts with her.

Despite years of grinding, Cardi B‘s ascend to the upper echelon of the music industry has been all sorts of rapid.

Turbo-charged by 2017’s ‘Bodak Yellow’ and a string of smash hit collaborations, the 25-year-old rocketed into the hearts, ears, and minds of the masses at lightening speed.

But it hasn’t been without its drawbacks.

In a stunning feature spread for GQ‘s May issue, Cardi opens up about how her life has changed, the drawbacks of success, and the risky measures she took to enhance her look.

She also revealed that she gets shy when meeting other stars – namely Beyonce, who she says almost made her “sh*t on herself”. And yes, those are her exact words.
