There are several components of the Xscape reunion – from their reality show, to their tour, to their upcoming biopic.

New music is also on the agenda – but not for all members.

Tiny, Tamika, and LaTocha will be pressing ahead with fresh material, a venture Kandi is sitting out due to other commitments.

The first fruits of their studio labour has been served up in the form of ‘Dream Killa’ and ‘Wifed Up’ – both of which were produced by hitmaker Tricky Stewart.

Xscape are wasting approximately no time seizing the momentum of their reunion buzz.

Members Tiny, Tamika, and LaTocha are pressing ahead with the release of new material under the group moniker. And they’ve shared another preview, this time the song ‘Wifed Up.’ 

As reported, Kandi will not be appearing on the fresh music due to “other commitments.” She will, however, will remain a part of the various other components of the reunion – including ‘The Great Xscape Tour’ and upcoming biopic.

Miguel recruits not one but two music titans for new song ‘Come Through And Chill.’

Previewed in solo form last year, J. Cole and Salaam Remi join the version of the jam set to appear on the crooner’s fourth album ‘War & Leisure.’

With the LP due in stores this Friday (December 1st), Miguel has unwrapped the collaboration.

N.E.R.D have officially tossed their hat into the fourth quarter release melee.

The eclectic collective – comprised of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, and Shay Haley – exploded back onto the scene this month with lead single ‘Lemon’ featuring Rihanna.

In the time since, they’ve previewed the entirety of new albumNo_One Ever Really Dies’ at ComplexCon – revealing in the process that the set also features the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Future, Andre 3000 and Ed Sheeran.

Now, they’ve confirmed the project’s official release date.

Current battles with former beau David Otunga haven’t robbed Grammy & Academy Award winning diva Jennifer Hudson of her holiday spirit it seems [click here to read more on that].  The songstress, who’s been winning over new fans with her stint as judge on NBC’s hit reality singing competition, ‘The Voice,’ used her awe-inspiring voice to accompany fellow Grammy winners/vocal group Pentatonix for their holiday special titled, ‘A Very Pentatonix Christmas.’

A highly touted tribute to Whitney Houston, P!nk/Kelly Clarkson duet, and Diana Ross lifetime achievement honors were undoubtedly among the draws that lured viewers into this year’s American Music Awards.

Hosted by ‘Black-ish’ star Tracee Ellis Ross, the showing – which also featured stage-blazing performances from chart-toppers Shawn Mendes, Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and more – saw a notable improvement in ratings compared to last year’s abysmal 8.18 million (the lowest in its nearly 45 year history).

Jessie J is ready.

After signalling her return with the announcement of new album ‘R.O.S.E’ and a series of promotional tracks, the vocal powerhouse has formally revealed the LP’s official lead single ‘Queen.’

Taking to social media, Jessie revealed that the cut is due this Friday (November 17th); she went on to say:
