Ne-Yo’s new album, ‘Libra Scale’, has been delayed again. The album will now hit stores on November 22nd (a Monday) during the same week as the release of Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’ debut LP. This is the 3rd time that the record has been delayed since it’s initial release date of September 21st.

Ne-Yo appeared on MTV’s ‘Extended Play’ recently. The singer/songwriter spoke about his upcoming studio album, ‘Libra Scale’, his contributions to Beyonce’s new project, his interest in working with Lady GaGa and what he intends to do with the material he wrote for Michael Jackson. Chrisette Michele is is back with a new album. The R&B singer will release her 3rd studio LP, ‘Let Freedom Reign’, on November 30th. The record is preceded by the Ne-Yo-written lead single, ‘I’m A Star’, and will include contributions from Chuck Harmony. Michele’s previous album, ‘Epiphany’, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 in 2009. {Source}

Ne-Yo met up with ‘Hello Beautiful’ to promote his new album, ‘Libra Scale’, which hits stores on October 19th. During the discussion the singer/songwriter revealed that the mother of his child is actually his best friend and that he has decided to stop fighting rumours relating to his sexuality. The pace appears to be picking up with Beyonce‘s latest project. Currently on hiatus from performing, the 28 year old is set to hit the studio tonight with Ne-Yo – according to the man himself.

Many will remember the pair’s last collaboration, 2006’s ‘Irreplaceable’ and the countless headlines it generated, Indeed Ne-Yo’s very public dispute of  Beyonce ‘s claim to have “written” the song, remains a talking point among many. Evidently, any ill-feeling appears to have been left in the past.

Thus far details surrounding the superstar’s new album have remained closely guarded. Although, Beyonce, herself, announced that the hotly anticipated follow-up to her ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’ LP is due to hit stores before the year’s end…

Ne-Yo has decided to delay his new album, ‘Libra Scale’. Initially scheduled for a September 21st release and then delayed to October 5th, the record will now hit stores on October 19th (the day after his 31st birthday). The LP includes the songs ‘Beautiful Monster’, ‘Champagne Life’ and his new single ‘One Life’.

Following the so-so performance of Kandi‘s debut album back in 2000, the former Xscape singer has kept a relatively low profile on the musical side of the fence.

However, the ‘No Scrubs’ writer is said to be recording a new album – and was recently snapped with hit-maker Ne-Yo working on the project (the process of which is being documented in the latest season of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ – in which she stars).

Speaking of Ne-Yo, the singer-songwriter is putting the finishing touches to his ‘Libra Scale’ LP, and is currently recording with producer Dallas Austin. As for his unique ensemble (above), we’re hearing the crooner was inspired the fashion he spotted here in London town during his recent promo trip…
