Netflix continues its bid to shine light on diverse voices as evidenced by the forthcoming film, ‘Disclosure.’

Executive produced by and featuring EMMY-winning actress Laverne Cox, the documentary is designed to honor and track the history of visibility of trans characters and storytelling in media.

“I think, for a very long time, the ways in which trans people have been represented on screen have suggested that we’re not real, have suggested that we’re mentally ill, that we don’t exist,” Cox says in the documentary. “And yet here I am, yet here we are, and we’ve always been here.”

Highlighted with appearances from ‘Matrix co-director Lilly Wachowski, ‘Pose’ star MJ Rodriguez, ‘Hustlers star Trace Lysette, and many others, look inside for the official trailer to the Sam Feder-directed ‘Disclosure’:

Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ segments, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s retrospective segment – a written quest, if you will, to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday.

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of Pop and Urban Pop music hits.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of her sophomore album, ‘Oops!…I Did It Again,’ we’re saluting Pop icon Britney Spears again.

As we reported here, Tekashi 6ix9ine sent a warning to Billboard Wednesday (May 13) to let chart officials know his latest single, ‘GOOBA,’ should debut atop next week’s Hot 100 due to its commanding streaming lead against closest competitor ‘Stuck With U’ – the benefit single from Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.

While not pinpointing the Scooter Braun-managed duo, it was clear who he was alluding to when discussing the “cheating” methods some artists have resorted to for chart glory (including payola and single bundling).

Its likely his stance was reinforced after Amazon announced every purchase of the Bieber and Grande’s tune would see the retail giants donate $5 to the First Responders Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports the children and families of first responders and COVID-19 frontline workers through college scholarships and special grants.

Drake‘s record-breaking relationship with the Hot 100 is absolutely unprecedented.

Beyond having more entries on the tally than any other artist in history (over 200), he’s also the first male act to have seen three of his singles debut at #1 on the chart over the course of his career (as we reported here), only artist to concurrently place 7 songs in the top 10 (as we reported here), most top 10 debuts (23), and only artist to have 27 simultaneous entries.

Now, after breaking King of Pop Michael Jackson‘s Hot 100 record for ‘most weeks at #1 among males’ and ‘most top 10 hits among males,’ Drizzy is poised to dethrone Queen of Pop Madonna from her longstanding record.

Tekasi 6ix9ine may have been released from prison unexpectedly due to fear of contracting COVID-19, but that certainly doesn’t mean his record in the court of pubic opinion has been tossed.

Proof of this comes as the 24-year-old (born Daniel Hernandez) – currently enjoying the massive success of his comeback single, ‘GOOBA’ (click here to watch its music video) – recently made a handsome donation of $200,000 to the No Kid Hungry Foundation, a nonprofit organization with the mission of “ending childhood hunger.”

Their response?  A quick “no thank you,” prompting 6ix9ine to take to social media to respond.

‘Trolls World Tour,’ the sequel to the 2016 blockbuster ‘Trolls,’ was one of the year’s first major films to be directly impacted by the drastic changes the current global health crisis has caused as – in an unprecedented move –  Universal decided to bypass theaters and take the animated flick directly to video-on-demand (VOD).

Introduced at the 48-hour rental price of $19.99 on April 10, the Justin Timberlake-led movie has nearly generated enough revenue to recoup the costs of its budget in less than 3 weeks.

Toni Braxton is back!

The R&B legend delivers a care package in the form of new single ‘Do It.’

A delicious slice of grown R&B, the track is the first offering from the GRAMMY winning icon since 2018 album ‘Sex & Cigarettes.’

Speaking on the song, Braxton said:

I wrote this song about a year ago when a friend was going through the struggles of trying to end a relationship that wasn’t good for her. We have all been through situations like this, when there is really nothing more to say, you know he’s not right and you just need to do what you need to do. There is also an element of hope in the song, that after you do what you need to do things will get better.
During these unprecedented times, make the most of your time indoors with some self-reflection. Now might be a good time to quarantine your heart as well in order to examine what it really needs.”
