When Floetry returned in 2015, fans were elated. Especially when the soulful duo embarked on not one but two reunion tours.
However, behind the scenes, turmoil was brewing and old wounds lay bare.
In a new interview with The Breakfast Club today, Marsha Ambrosius lifted the lid on the drama few actually knew about.
And believe us, it runs deep.
Beyond her fall-out with the Floacist (Natalie Stewart), Ambrosius opened up about becoming a mother and a fiance, as well new music, and a whole lot more.
Adele‘s discography continues to see her roll in the cash.
That’s right, much to the delight of her bank account, she pocketed £40 million extending her lead as the highest-earning female British singer of all time.
With this, her earnings rise to the $125 million mark.
Robert Watts, compiler of The Sunday Times Rich List:
What a year for Adele. Such strong record sales and a busy touring schedule propel her into our main list for the first time.
Still in her 20s, if Adele’s career lasts as long as many of the other entries in our list, she has the potential to be the highest-earning British musician of all time.

Former ‘Real Housewife of Atlanta‘ Kim Zolciak shocked, stunned and disgusted social media hours ago when she made a joke related to John Legend, oral sex…and her own daughter.

Drake has denied that he is with child after a former adult entertainer stepped out to claim that he placed a Canadian bun in her oven.
A woman named Sophie Brussaux claims she and Drizzy slept with each other around January 20th and that she is expecting his child.
Keen to prove that he is her baby daddy she unleashed an exchange they shared via text when she “broke the news”.
Sophie:
I can’t kill my baby simply to indulge you sorry.
Drake:
Indulge me? F*** you. You do know what you’re doing you think you’re going to get money.
His team issued the following statement after learning that she has hired two high profile lawyers to take him on.
This woman has a very questionable background. She has admitted to having multiple relationships. We understand she may have problems getting into the United States. She’s one of many women claiming he got them pregnant. If it is in fact Drake’s child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child.
Drake believes that another rapper is the real father.
Beyonce may be on a chart hiatus, but she isn’t letting pregnancy dim her limelight.
She’s standing in it and werking it!
The megastar is due to give birth to twins within the coming months and has spent the time since her January announcement showing that she can still look fly.
Her latest showcase saw her poke fun at herself on Instagram.
Sharing the clip below, Queen Bey added The Commodore‘s classic ‘Brick House’ in the background – no doubt poking fun at her current state.
Miley Cyrus earned praise and critque in equal measure when she traded her traditional pop rooting for a faux-edgy take on Urban.
Indeed, out went the girl next door and in came the grills, Mike-Will collaborations, and cringey attempts at twerking. Case in point…
Well, after a period of reflection (brought on perhaps by the lukewarm response to her 2015 “mixtape” ‘Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz’), Cyrus is re-branding.
She poses it up in a number of demure shots for Billboard Magazine, who she opened up to about her new direction.
Stripping things back, she appears to have ditched the plethora of Urban super-producers found on ‘Bangerz’ and ‘Petz.’ Instead, she’s written most of her as yet untitled new album herself, with producer-writer Oren Yoel.
Billboard describes the sound as acoustic, folky, and rootsy with occasional lean towards epic Pop.
The masses will get a taste of new Miley when her single ‘Malibu’ lands next week (May 11th).

We’re all for the change. It was necessary.
Her antics were becoming a farce and the level of cultural appropriation was unavoidably offensive.
She has an interesting voice, so hopefully this go round she pairs it with content that doesn’t feel like it was ripped from ‘Hip-Hop 101 For Beginners.’
After dominating the charts and airwaves with current album ‘divide’ and its launching singles, the British superstar looks to elongate his dominance this summer with ‘Galway Girl.’
Issued as the official follow-up to the dual release of smashes ‘Shape Of You’ and ‘Castle On The Hill,’ the video for the infectious cut was unwrapped moments ago.
Staying true to the song’s lyrics, the visual is set in a pub in the Irish town of Galway.
That said, given Sheeran’s popularity, this easily looks set to be his next global smash.
For two seasons, fans of NBC’s ‘The Voice’ have enjoyed seeing ‘A Woman’s Worth’ singer Alicia Keys lend her expert 2-cents as judge to the show’s talented hopefuls. Now, the singer/songwriter says it’s time to bid the show adieu.
Taking to Entertainment Tonight, Keys revealed she will not be returning for next season’s run alongside resident judges Miley Cyrus or Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine as she is directing her full attention to the completion of her yet-titled 7th studio effort.
Telling viewers she is ‘halfway done’ with the process, tuck in to hear the Grammy-winner dish on the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Here’:
Have Sevyn Streeter and Chris Brownlanded on yet another hit with their tune, ‘Parachute’? If you asked us, the answer is a resounding “yes”!
The ‘Don’t Stop the Fun’ duo are back at it with a dynamic dance number, which interestingly was first unveiled a few years ago. Now, with a retouch here and a revamp there, the song is being reintroduced to the masses.
Granted, the song is not one of the 40 slated to appear on Brown’s forthcoming ‘Heartbreak on a Full Moon’ album, but we’re hoping the track will be found on Streeter’s forthcoming offering. Until we find out for sure, what is for sure is that this banging bop awaits your appraisal below:
In addition to seeing his name penciled at the top of the Hot 100 thanks to his latest hit single, ‘That’s What I Like’ (as we reported here), the singer/songwriter – courtesy of ‘Like’s ongoing success – is also seeing his moniker etched in history books (again). As if selling over 100 million singles in just 7 years wasn’t enough, as of this week Mars:
…is the first male solo artist this century to nab a Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit from his first three studio albums
…has more #1 singles than any other male act this decade (7) and trails behind Rihanna‘s (9) and Katy Perry‘s (8) in the overall count.
…has the second-most #1 singles of any male act this century, trailing Usher‘s (8)
The feats above only scratch the surface of the Hawaiian hitmaker’s Hot 100 success. But, while we’re sure Team Mars is busy celebrating, he shouldn’t get too comfortable as threats from the position’s two previous tenants – Kendrick Lamar (‘Humble’) and Ed Sheeran (‘Shape of You’) – are still very much real. Until we find out how ‘Like’ held up against the competition next week, we invite you to see who else joins the trio of male acts on this week’s refreshed TGJ Chart Check: Hot 100.
Pill and p***y poppers both helped Future‘s latest, the Metro Boomin-produced ‘Mask Off,’ become a top 5 hit on Billboard’s Hot 100 even before the arrival of its official accompanying music video.
Now, as the tune – found aboard the rapper’s February-released self-titled project – continues to blare from speakers across the U.S., the ‘Purple Reign’ performer has taken the lid off of ‘Mask Off’s video by revealing a 20-second preview ahead of its full unveiling.
Taking the cinematic approach (as evidenced by the explosive clip), are you ready to see what Future’s cooked up via his Colin Tilley-directed visual? Watch below and tell us:
Queen of NeoSoul Erykah Badu has finally announced plans to bless her royal subjects with a concert tour with the ‘Badu Vs. Everythang World Tour,’ – her first “proper” globe-trotting tour since 2010’s ‘Out My Mind, Just In Time’ worldwide trek.
Hatching rumors the Grammy Award winner may be supporting new music along the way, the outing will kick off May 6th in Birmingham, AL before making pit stops in Atlanta, Houston, New Orleans, Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and more. The aforementioned cities are mixed in between trips to Europe and Asia.
