Lauryn Hill has had enough!

Despite developing quite the reputation for being extremely tardy to her own shows over the years (or canceling at the last minute), Hill continues to be a touring force thanks to her Diamond-certified debut solo album, 1998’s ‘Miseducation,’ and hits she collected prior to that with Fugees.

In celebration of the timeless LP’s 25th anniversary, Lauryn took to press earlier this year to announce she would be going on a global tour in 2023.

Buzz for the September-launched jaunt quickly went south as reports flooded in the R&B/Hip-Hop diva – when not axing appearances all together – was habitually late for performances, citing health issues as the main reason.

As the negative attention continues to plague the outing, she finally addressed the hoopla in a stinging reprimand to critics.

Drake‘s domination of Billboard last week thanks to his latest album, ‘For All the Dogs,’ was just the tip of the iceberg of history-making success he achieved this month.

Beyond becoming the first act to amass over 75 Hot 100 top 10 hits, collect over 300 entries on the chart, and have the most #1 debuts (9 total), he tied King of Pop Michael Jackson‘s record for most #1 hits among males overall.

On the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) side of the fence, the wins were unprecedented as well.

While enjoying the seemingly unstoppable run of her hit comeback single, ‘Flowers,’ earlier this year, Miley Cyrus learned her biggest-selling single to date – 2009’s ‘Party in the USA‘ – had been upgraded to 12x Platinum (a measure denoting sales equivalence of 12 million in the USA) by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

At the time, the feat put her in a three-way tie with Katy Perry‘s ‘Firework‘ and Mariah Carey‘s ‘All I Want for Christmas‘ for 1st place among female-led songs.

The trio held the title for a mere 7 months before singer-songwriter Lorde snatched the crown with her 2013 hit, ‘Royals,’ which was certified 13x Platinum on September 29.

Fans of the New Zealand-reared could barely enjoy the win, however, before Miley’s ‘Party’ crashed the party with yet another certification update – less than two weeks later.

Details inside.
