‘Get Lifted’ beau John Legend lifts his voice and a glass for Euro beer brand Stella Artois’ ‘Give Beautifully’ holiday campaign.
With the ballad ‘Under the Stars,’ Legend and co. incorporated sounds from actual stars (you read that right) to help fill out its instrumentation. According to the press release sent to announce the song’s arrival, stars create unique audible tones that derive from the very frequencies that can change their levels of brightness. Those sounds were then combined and manipulated to accompany John’s tickled ivories to produce one stirring number.
Don’t just take our word for it, hear the celestial creation below:
As if her television endeavors, ‘Christina Milian Turned Up’ (E!) and ‘Grandfathered’ (FOX), don’t keep her busy enough, ‘AM to PM’ singer Christina Milian proves her hustle continues to go ’round the clock with her newest music video ‘Do It.’
Serving as the latest number lifted from her long-awaited ‘4U’ EP (available Friday), the tune’s steamy accompanying visual sees Miss Milian accompanied by former boo Lil’ Wayne. Shot before news of the couple’s unexpected demise, the video gives fans one last look at what could’ve been between the former hip hop lovers.
‘Creed’ dealt a dynamite blow to all box office projections this week.
The boxing flick, which continues the ‘Rocky’ legacy, capped off with a five-day domestic total of $42.6 million.
Impressive on a number of fronts, the figure is particularly noteworthy because it means the Michael B. Jordan film bests initial estimates ($35 million) by a considerable margin. What’s more, the sum sees the movie (which smartly co-stars Sylvester Stallone) become the most successful ‘Rocky’ movie launch of all-time – topping the $21 million debut of Stallone’s last stint as lead [2006’s ‘Rocky Balboa’].
With industry analysts predicting a $100 million eventual total for ‘Creed’ (which had a $35 million budget), its 29-year director Ryan Coogler and all involved have much to smile about.
That Grape Juice’s Megan Thomas caught up with Michael B. Jordan at the movie’s Los Angeles premiere. Watch above as he gushes about the role that’s set to blast his star into the stratosphere.

The latest run of the Mona Scott Young production welcomes rapper Remy Ma to the cast – as well a host of other new names. Fret not, because regulars such as Yandy Smith, Amina Buddafly, and Rich Dollaz are also back in the mix too.
Pouring fuel on the fire of excitement, VH1 have uncaged a five minute supertrailer.
Fantasia is still the name on everybody’s lips after her soul-stirring Soul Train Awards tribute to Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds aired on BET and Centric last night.
Lending fiery renditions of the Edmonds-penned numbers ‘Exhale (Shoop Shoop)’ (originally performed by Whitney Houston) and ‘Superwoman,’ the performance won rave reviews from critics and viewers alike – a hot topic well over into the next day. But, while many are praising the ‘Idol’ winner’s stunning showing as the highlight of the night, there’s one who doesn’t exactly share the sentiment – ‘Superwoman’s original singer Karyn White.
White, who took the song to the top of charts in 1989, took to Facebook moments ago to lend her thoughts on the performance and sound off on BET for not inviting her to take part in the tribute.
For, after being charged with adding credible value to Iggy Azalea‘s career before the release of her second album, their job was just made impossibly difficult by the artist Erykah Badu.
