Janet Jackson saw new life breathed into her 1987 classic ‘Pleasure Principle‘ thanks to the song being sampled on Cardi B‘s ‘Principal‘ – one of many gems found aboard the Rap diva’s September 19-released sophomore LP ‘Am I the Drama.’

Billed as a featured act, Jackson’s vocals were used to support the tune’s hook – making it the first time she’s ever lent her voice in an official capacity to another woman’s album.

Hot on the promo trail, Cardi was recently spotted chatting it up with Sway on the legendary DJ’s SIRIUSXM show ‘Sway’s Universe.’

Doja Cat has already watched her latest single, ‘Jealous Type,’ get typed into a prominent position on the Billboard Hot 100’s top 40.

Her bid to bounce it to even higher heights on the chart have not only come via a blazing introductory live performance at this year’s MTV VMAs, but also an invitation to go behind the scenes to see how its equally sizzling music video was created.

Directed by Boni Mata, the clip’s 80’s aesthetic is only outpaced by the song’s synth-heavy production which also acts as an ode to the decade.

The Rap royal delivered a lyrical lashing on the Boston native by way of new song ‘Pretty & Petty,’ which is housed on her freshly unwrapped sophomore album, ‘Am I The Drama?’

Barack Obama continues to sound off in the wake of Jimmy Kimmel being pulled from the airwaves for remarks made about Charlie Kirk‘s killer.

As reported, the late-night host was slammed by an FCC exec for claiming the right activist’s shooter was of MAGA affiliation during a monologue. Distributor Nexstar echoed the condemnation, and ultimately, ABC benched the show “indefinitely” amidst the drama.

While U.S. resident Donald Trump celebrated the move, others have slammed it – branding the move as a politically-charged attack on “free speech.”

Having initially blasted the Kimmel axing, the former President has followed up with an additional weigh-in.

Trailblazing director Diane Martel sadly lost her brave battle with breast cancer.

It has been announced that the visionary, who has helmed iconic music videos for many of the industry’s biggest names, died on September 18.

She was 63.

Ciara, a frequent collaborator, joined a growing list of names saluting Martel for the indelible mark she has left on music history.

The clock is ticking toward the October 23 release of ‘CAOS‘ – Miguel‘s first studio album since dropping 2017’s ‘War & Leisure.’

Ahead of its arrival, the GRAMMY-winning crooner is whetting appetites by giving music lovers samples from its yet-revealed tracklist.

Barely two weeks after introducing the single ‘New Martyrs (Ride 4 U),’ he’s already riding on to unveil its follow-up: ‘El Pleito’ (which translates to ‘The Lawsuit‘ in English).

“Eh, I’m in my feelings I might go dark /When way too much is not enough / I lost myself when I needed me most,” he sings on the half-Spanish track.
