Mariah Carey is quite the prankster these days. Or at least we hope she is.

Because, it’d be various flavours of sad, if she wasn’t “in” on the joke that has become her artwork of late.

Recent years have seen the songbird demonstrate a flare for Photoshop, yet the cover for her latest single ‘You Don’t Know What To Do’ may be pushing things too far.

The Wale assisted cut is the fifth and newest single to be lifted from the diva’s new album ‘Me. I Am…Mariah. The Elusive Chanteuse’. Yet, the approach to its artwork was anything but new.

Unveiled by Mimi herself on Twitter, the cover appears to be a festively edited version of the visual for its parent album – with a different face shot pasted on.

Undoubtedly one of Pop’s nicer purveyors, Iggy Azalea‘s undeniable chart reign with single ‘Fancy’ has gone relatively undisturbed by digital dramas of yesteryear.

Alas, if the Rap royal had thought she’d found a dangerous opponent in Azealia Banks three years ago, this week would have seen forced to think again, after coming face to face with…’The Barbz.’

Oh yes, as to ensure the chart-topping lyricist knew her supposed in station in Rap music, Nicki Minaj‘s fans pulled quite the stunt on Azalea this week, when she asked her fans to support her bid to pick up the ‘Best R&B/Hip Hop Artist‘ award at this year’s ‘Teen Choice Awards.’

The Soubrette that is Nicki Minaj continued to tease fans with new material today, taking to ‘Instagram’ to unveil just a little of what they can expect to hear on new LP ‘The Pink Print.’

Falling in line with the project’s reported romantic and feminine direction, the jam-whose name is yet to be revealed- sees the star place her emotions centre stage, gliding across mid-tempo production with the light, bright and occasionally impressive vehicle that is her voice.

Unfortunately, the release won’t appear on the aforementioned ‘Print’, but- should the project’s jams sound anything like it- serve as the perfect endorsement for it.

‘Larry King Now’ had the pleasure of catching up with Trey Songz recently, inviting the singer/actor to discuss his latest LP ‘Trigga’ days before its July 1st release.

Cheryl Cole is wasting no time with the push for her fourth studio album.

Preceded by comeback single ‘Crazy Stupid Love’, the LP follows 2012’s ‘A Million Lights’ – which served as the British belle’s lowest selling project to date.

Hoping to reverse those fortunes, the singer has returned to The X Factor UK judging panel – which she’ll no doubt be hoping serves as a solid springboard back into the minds of the masses as well as, of course,  the charts.
