Didn’t they almost have it all?

While fans of Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are still reeling from news of their divorce proceedings, elsewhere on the music spectrum one of pop’s cutest couples – Jason Derulo & Jordin Sparks – are reportedly no longer seeing sparks in their once hot romance as multiple sources have indicated that the singers are splitsville.

Despite just appearing together at last month’s MTV Video Music Awards, the rumor mill was running over with word that the duo were done.  Initially avoiding the topic all together, it appears the ‘Marry Me’ maestro has added fuel to the fire by indirectly confirming that Jordin won’t be becoming Mrs. Desrouleaux any time soon.

After dominating the chars for much of the year, Ariana Grande has been gifted the honor of serving as the first musical guest on the upcoming season premiere of Saturday Night Live.

The pint-sized-powerhouse will be performing and co-hosting with actor Chris Pratt – who she stars in a comical new promo with.

ABC‘s new freshman comedy ‘Black-Ish’ has debuted with quite the bang. A coup that will no doubt have its lead stars Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross smiling today.

For, despite ample debate surrounding the show – which follows a family’s struggle to gain a sense of cultural identity while living in a predominantly white, middle-class neighborhood – its premiere ratings have been a resounding success.

Yesterday brought with it the unfortunate news that rapper Wiz Khalifa and wife of one-year Amber Rose are divorcing after just one year of marriage.

Naturally in the absence of specifics, speculation has been rife as to what caused the couple – who have one child together – to break-up.

Well, seemingly fed up with the muddying of her name, former model-turned-aspiring actress Rose took to Twitter today to provide clarity and drop a bombshell in the process.

Jennifer Hudson‘s third album ‘JHUD’ landed in stores this week and the singer is working hard on the promotional trail in support of the set.

After making an impressive stop on The Breakfast Club yesterday, the ‘Dreamgirls’ star paid a visit to The Wendy Williams Show this afternoon to talk music, motherhood, and, of course, hot topics.

Watching this brought a warm smile to our face. For, Jennifer has a great personality. Yet, this very fact jars somewhat; because, had she hit the interview circuit earlier and shone in this way, perhaps the all-important first-week predictions would be saying more than they are.

Like, in retrospect, (from where we’re standing) it would have benefited the project far more had she embarked on a press tour and shown more of “this” than the countless stage performances for an audience that are still getting to know who she is and what she’s about.

Rising R&B belle Tinashe is readying her debut album ‘Aquarius’ for release on October 7th.

The LP, which is being tipped as an project to watch, has thus far served up Summer scorcher ‘2 On’ and hopes to repeat said song’s success with follow-up ‘Pretend’.

With the video for the A$AP Rocky assisted number due imminently, the singer gives fans a taste of what to expect with a behind the scenes look at its creation.

The trio may have disbanded, but – as earlier reported – they will be releasing their third (and presumably final) album ‘DK3’ on October 28th.

Moments ago, the group’s official page debuted new song ‘Rhythm Of Love’ – deeming it the next single from the LP.

Tonight marks the return of ABC’s hit TV show ‘Scandal’, returning for a fourth season led once again by actress Kerry Washington.

Today, it has emerged that the show’s fans aren’t the only ones looking forward to its return, after it was revealed that actor Columbus Short is to host a premiere party for it in Atlanta night.

One problem though.

They fired him earlier this year.

Jimi Hendrix‘ hotly anticipated ‘All Is By My Side’ biopic nabbed some major promo hours ago, when its star, rapper Andre 3000, took to ‘Ellen‘ to spill exciting new details on the release.

“I had to make it look like I had been playing that way for years, which is hard”, he revealed when discussing using the electric guitar in the movie, penned by ’12 Years a Slave’ writer John Ridley.
