Jordin Sparks rarely finds her name in drama-drenched headlines. However, since splitting with Pop star boyfriend Jason Derulo (who she dated for 3 years), the American Idol winner has been the subject of ample discussion. Especially, following Derulo’s candid public stance on what caused the union to end.

Since it’s the arrival of its music video, Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Anaconda’ has seen now fewer than 100,000 units moved with every passing chart week.

Alas, not even the sweet smell of success could mask the brewing stench omitted by drama weighed in on by singer/songwriter Eric Bellinger, responsible for Chris Brown‘s smash hit single ‘Fine China.‘

This week, before it surpasses sales of 1 million units in the US, the single has found Minaj’s story behind its conception thrown into disrepute, now Bellinger claims that she is refusing to acknowledge his production work on it.

Why? His decision to tease fans with the single before the rapper had given him the OK to do so.

‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ will return to Bravo on the date above, returning for a seventh cycle with a little help from two new ladies, and set to rock TV with more drama than it’s ever dished up before.

It would seem ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ is the latest show in the Bravo empire to demote one of its ‘Wives’ to “supporting status” this year, after cast member Porsha Williams revealed that she would not be returning to the show as a ‘Wife.’

However, that doesn’t mean she’ll be done with the show altogether.

Mr PR person had been contacted by BET personnel and had been instructed by someone from Disturbin Tha Peace to deny me access to the awards or the red carpet.

 

Four years after she addressed their feud here, Shawnna has accused of her ‘What’s Your Fantasy’ collaborator Ludacris of having her blacklisted by ‘Black Entertainment Television’, claiming that he had her banned from attending their recent ‘BET Hip Hop Awards’ event in Atlanta, Georgia.

Refreshingly squeaky clean and void of the mess that oft plagues African-American artists were Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo, recently revealing that they had pulled the plug on their relationship.

Unfortunately for them, their split hasn’t come with a side order of drama, served in talk that Derulo had pulled a Future and had gotten another women pregnant while with Jordin.

What Jason had to say on the matter when he touched down on ‘Hot 97’ hours ago? He denied them, revealing that he had no involvement with the young lady, whom he billed a  serial “home wrecker.”

Due later this year, the set has thus far spawned ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ – which hit number one earlier this Summer. Now, the former Girls Aloud cooer is hoping to achieve similar success with follow-up ‘I Don’ Care’.

His debut EP may have pulled in 15 million streams since December 2012, but fans of R&B singer Elijah Blake would have been a tad delusional if they believed that would guarantee success on a sales front when he made his new music available for purchase.

For, as Jennifer Lopez‘ ‘Booty’ current iTunes’ position of #93 proves, getting music lovers to buy music they can stream for free is anything but a walk in the park.
