Last month, ‘The Heist’ performer Macklemore made headlines when issued an apology to rival Kendrick Lamar, doing so via a text he later went on to publish here.

What he apologised for? Beating him at the 56th annual Grammy awards, dominating categories many believed would be ‘owned’ by the ‘Poetic’ rapper.

Unfortunately, the pair’s mutual rival Drake hasn’t taken too kindly to the apology, billing it ‘weak’, ‘cheap’ and calculated during a recent interview with Wenner‘s ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine.

If there’s one thing to be learned from Mariah Carey‘s promotional run this morning, it’s that the icon should avoid live interviews…wherever and whenever she can.

For, after being showered with praise and love after the release of new single ‘You’re Mine’,  the star’s entitled and at times irritating personality saw her rain on her parade when she arrived at ‘The Breakfast Club‘ to promote the aforementioned hit.

It was there, seemingly under the influence of alcohol, the star revealed just how ‘out of it’ she really is when quizzed on a number of hot topics…including Beyonce –whom she stresses that she is a fan of- and her smash hit single Drunk in Love.’

A seemingly ‘boozed up’ Mariah Carey touched down at ‘The Breakfast Club’ this morning, hitting the thriving radio outlet to promote her brand new single, ‘You’re Mine’ and the March release of its supporting album.

Alas, as is often the case with Mariah interviews, it didn’t take long for the conversation to take a ‘shady’ turn- straying away from the ‘agreed-upon’ topic of discussion, and landing on Nicki Minaj territory and her supposed tardiness to the ‘American Idol’ set during the pair’s time on the show last year.

On May 6th 2014, Mariah Carey will grace the world of music with a brand new studio album- marking her fourteenth effort since the birth of her self-titled debut in 1990.

So, in a bid to win over the general public’s support before the album drops, the ‘Butterfly’ spread her promotional wings this morning, landing at a number of different radio formats to push the project.

Her latest stop? ‘The Breakfast Club’, where she answered on questions on the new release, her contemporaries and that feud with Rap songbird Nicki Minaj.

Now, as its original version continues to attract rave reviews and reignite interest in its supporting album, Carey goes the extra mile by sending its remix to the world minutes later.

This reworked version, featuring R&B chart regular Trey Songz (who does away with the Hip Hop cliches that threaten to cheapen his sound), joina Mariah on a romantic- and hopefully chart-dominating- journey.

Much to the delight of NBC’s ‘Bravo’, the above stood as the number of viewers who tuned in to this week’s episode of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’!

Marking the highest viewed episode of the show’s current season, the serving’s groundbreaking ratings came as audiences descended on it to witness the aftermath of a brawl involving all of its central and current supporting cast, including Brandon DeShazer– seen defending Peach carrying pal Kenya Moore in the clip above.

Will next week’s episode fare just as well?

With Ashanti‘s ‘I Got It’ video due imminently, the R&B belle is giving fans a taster of what to expect from its parent album ‘Braveheart’.

Delayed in earnest, the project is finally set to arrive in stores on March 4th via the singer’s own label Written Entertainment. Guests on the set include Rick Ross, Beenie Man, Jeremih, and French Montana.

After all the hype, hoopla, and hysteria, will the LP’s wait be worth it? The first semblance of an answer awaits below…

The Carters are in a sharing mood.

Over the the course of their union, Beyonce and Jay-Z have made it routine to rarely speak about their private life. However, recent times have seen the power couple appease the masses by showing and sharing their activity rather than speaking about it.

The latest insight into the ‘Drunk In Love’ duo’s world came courtesy of King B, who moments ago posted new snaps of her family on vacation in the Dominican Republic on Instagram.

A brief break of sorts, the holiday comes one week before Bey’s ‘Mrs Carter Show Tour’ reconvenes and, if reports are to be believed, one week before she hits the stage at the 2014 BRIT Awards.
