One rules the singles charts, while the other rules the industry at large. As such, it was always a given that any snap of Rihanna and Beyonce would feature ample beauty and an overflow of power.

Last night saw the exactly that happen when chart-forces posed it up together at the 2014 MET Gala in New York.

Rocking contrasting gowns, with Bey in Givenchy and Rih in Stella McCartney, the ladies both served stunning aplenty.

There are many places we “could” take this post, but we simply tip our hats to two successful winning women.

Indeed, the narrative of the Grammy-winning group is as juicy as juicy gets – from line-up changes, to rumors of favouritism, there was never a dull moment with the children of Destiny.

Clearly, Wendy Williams agrees. For, the talk-show maven welcomed former member LaTavia Roberson onto her show today.

The singer and budding author, is currently enjoying a renewed turn in the spotlight thanks to TVOne hit ‘R&B Divas’ – which she was naturally keen to promote.

Still, it wouldn’t be Wendy if the tough questions weren’t asked – and ask she did. Topics discussed include her time in the band and her infamous departure, the group’s manager (and Beyonce’s dad) Mathew Knowles, and much more.

Power. That exactly what EBONY magazine is celebrating a-front of their June 2014 issue.

A four-cover series, the latest edition of the popular publication features Beyonce, Jay Z, Kanye West and Rihanna – as a salute to their unprecedented impact on Black music.

Critically acclaimed writer Kevin Powell lends EBONY his pen and probes the connection between the ruling musical icons and how they compare with legends of the past.

“It was an honor to write the four cover stories for EBONY magazine’s Black Music Month special collector’s edition, and to also pen the additional four mini-features inside. Set to hit newsstands tomorrow (May 6th), Rihanna is the first of the quad to comment on the cover. Her words below…
