Still very much in promo mode for his acclaimed 12th studio album ‘Black Panties’ (2013) via a Tamar Braxton-assisted North American tour, Kellz is still putting in studio work to ensure his 2014 is as fruitful as ever.  Now unveiling news of a greatest hits album filled with over 20 years of hits and exclusive remixes, the project will lead the ‘Half On A Baby’ hitmaker into the latter half of 2014 where he is set to release two more albums.

If you are in need of an R. Kelly fix, we’re certain the remainder of the year will have you on the verge of overdose.

Despite already selling over 3 million copies worldwide since its release in December, the campaign for Beyonce‘s blockbuster new album shows no signs of slowing.

Having racked up hits with ‘Drunk In Love’ and ‘Partition’, the singer has selected ‘Pretty Hurts’ as the next Pop/Mainstream single to be lifted from the self-titled set.

As such, today brings with it the VEVO premiere of the video many are hailing as one of the star’s most powerful yet.

The renown publication have named the ‘Pretty Hurts’ singer as one of the world’s Most Influential People and invited King B to celebrate the feat a-front of their latest issue.

Deserved in earnest, the honor follows a record-breaking year for the 32-year-old, who changed the face of the modern music industry with her “surprise” album and grossed over $200 million dollars with her worldwide ‘Mrs Carter Show World Tour’.

For most artists, a six-year gap between albums would be unthinkable. Yet for soul-filled songbird Solange it’s only increased anticipation.

The 27-year-old’s last full-length LP, ‘Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams’, saw her shed the “sister of a superstar” tag and command critical acclaim of her own. Naturally, buzz for a follow-up has continued to gain momentum, and reached fever-pitch when the singer released taster EP ‘True’ in 2012.

Now, after signing with Columbia Records, it appears the star is ready to unwrap her third full-length album.

For fans of Frank Miller‘s ‘Sin City’ series, the above date marks the spot for the release of its hotly anticipated sequel…’Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.’

Hitting British cinemas seven days later, the movie kicked off its promotional campaign with the release of a one minute long teaser, shedding light on the four plot lines its set to tackle under the direction of Robert Rodriguez, and performances put on by Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson and WME‘s Lady GaGa.

Cop a gander at J. Hud!

While her new, Timbaland-assisted single ‘Walk It Out’ makes moves on the net, powerhouse singer Jennifer Hudson is still making moves to the studio to put the finishing touches on its yet titled parent album.  But, as we await news on the project, Hudson took to Brown Shoe Co.’s 100th year anniversary in New York tonight to wow a star-studded crowd.  Bumping into fellow hitmaker Nelly, the singer upload the snap (seen above) to her Instagram moments ago with the caption:

“Had a good lil time tonight performing for brown shoe company 100th anniversary . Even Nelly came by to chat with me. Nice guy! #walkitout.”
