After an extended spell out of the spotlight, Ameriie stopped by The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 today.

Ever eloquent, the ‘Why Do We Fall In Love’ songstress explained her lengthy hiatus from the music scene, her flair for fiction writing, and the release new material – the first taste of which arrives tomorrow in the form of an EP named ‘Drive.’

In true ‘Breakfast Club’ tradition, she was grilled about a host of topics – including whether she feels Beyonce bit her “go-go” sound following the success of ‘One Thing.’

Ariana Grande‘s inner ‘Dangerous Woman’ will finally be unleashed tomorrow.

The pint-sized powerhouse’s third album hits retail following the official release of its title track and bouncy anthem ‘Be Alright.’ In more recent weeks, the songbird has premiered several taster cuts from the LP including ‘Greedy’ and ‘Side To Side’ featuring Nicki Minaj.

In what is sure to be one media stop of many, Grande covers the latest issue of Billboard Magazine for a ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’ inspired shoot.

Kelly Rowland‘s latest creation has been unveiled!

Viewers of the singer’s hit BET show ‘Chasing Destiny’ were finally introduced to her new five-piece girl-group.

The quintet, comprised of Brienna, Shyann, Ashly, Gabby, and Krystal, joined their mentor on the You & Me Show to dish about their experience thus far and what to expect.

Apparently, following their ‘Hotline Bling’ cover, the group are gearing up to release official material uber soon.

Now, five years and three albums removed from his dismissal, Mathew Knowles has reunited with his daughter Beyonce at the latest stop of her ‘Formation World Tour.’

Snapped backstage, the picture above was released as they celebrated the 13th birthday of her debut solo single ‘Crazy in Love.’

The number, which followed the ‘Goldmember‘-backed buzz cut ‘Work It Out‘, was released on May 18th 2003 and led the way for her debut solo album ‘Dangerously in Love‘, which honoured the standout ballad of the same name which appeared on the Destiny’s Child LP ‘Survivor.’

He may have lost his grip on the Hot 100’s top spot, but Grammy-winning rapper Drake is still enjoying the ‘Views’ from the top of the Billboard 200 despite a whopping 79% sales drop in the second full week of the album’s availability.

Indeed, fending off the likes of ‘Mine’ co-star Beyonce and more, the Toronto-born beau’s massive drop was still substantially more than his competition could move.

Billboard reports:

Views earned another 313,000 equivalent album units in the week ending May 12, according to Nielsen Music (with 175,000 of that in pure album sales.  Views tallied a 70 percent decline in units compared to its debut frame a week ago (1.04 million units), while its sales collapsed by 79 percent (falling from 852,000 to 175,000).

With the stats above, ‘Views’ holds the honor of being the first and only album released this year to cross the platinum threshold.  As we patiently await for more titles to join him, tuck in below to see this week’s TGJ Chart Check:

With just days to go before Celine Dion is honored with the Icon Award at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, the superstar singer sat down with Nightline to discuss the piercing loss of her husband.

Rene Angelil, who also served as her career-long manager, died five months ago following a hard-fought battle with throat cancer.

Hailed as a titan of talent, Dion has had to serve as a tower of strength for the couple’s three children – all the while coming to terms with his death herself.

Last night brought with it the grand unveiling of Kelly Rowland‘s all new girl-group on hit BET series ‘Chasing Destiny.’ 

Pieced together by the singer and creative director Frank Gatson, the five-piece (who receive a contract with Epic Records) are comprised of Brienna, Shyann, Ashly, Gabby, and Krystal. 

Their creation process will continue to air through to June, but keen to give the masses a taste of what to expect from their sound, the quintet have debuted a harmonious cover of Drake‘s hit ‘Hotline Bling.’
