That Grape Juice is saddened to report that beloved “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star James Avery has died at the age of 65.

TMZ reports:

“Sources close to the actor tell TMZ he died in an L.A. hospital last night. Avery had recently undergone surgery for an undisclosed illness and took a turn for the worse late yesterday.

And we’re told … his wife, Barbara, had been at his bedside but left for a short period of time to get something to eat.  When she came back, she learned he had just died.”

By way of releases that reflected the genre’s evolving sound, a number of R&B staples served as the wind used to push its ship to lucrative ground in 2013…one of these, being ‘DUI’ darling Ciara.

That’s right, thanks to sales of over half a million units, the singer’s spicy jam ‘Body Party’ has earned a spot on Billboard’s R&B Digital Songs Year-End chart, which lists the highest selling songs from the genre in order of how many units they moved online in the US alone.

For one reason or another, the gifted vocalist that is Jay Sean has never truly been able to enjoy the acclaim his talent should have handed him automatically.

However, there’s no doubt he hopes to change that with the release of his latest video, shot for ‘The Mistress Part 2: Room Service’, ‘Take That Off.’

Pop princess Rihanna is hard at work on her eighth studio album, it has emerged today-teased by Hip Hop hit-maker Dj Mustard this week.

That’s right, while the world celebrates new releases from Lady GaGa, Beyonce and Katy Perry, the ‘Loud’ entertainer has enlisted a team of writers and producers to create the release, calling on the aforementioned Mustard to deliver a nightclub-ready smash hit to her creative door!

Things got pretty ugly yesterday for ‘Unpretty’ star Chilli (of TLC) after the singer’s 2014 ‘New Year’s Resolutions’ ruffled the feathers of members of Beyonce’s dedicated fanbase “the Beyhive”.

Indeed, after the Atlanta star implied that referring to the pop superstar as “Queen B” be “forbidden” in the new year, fans instantly went on the attack causing the 42-year-old to quickly issue a statement regarding the backlash.
