Given the No Doubt diva’s split from hubby of 13 years Gavin Rossdale, the timing of the release is particularly apt.

Still, tabloid headlines don’t push songs to the top of the charts these days. Hence, after a solid digital debut (the track hit #2 on iTunes upon release last week), 46-year-old Stefani has hit the promo trail.

‘Ellen’ was the chosen stage to debut the track on TV for ‘The Voice’ season 9 coach.

For, after Pharrell Williams’ legal deposition surfaced online, Robin Thicke has learned that footage from his deposition has done the same…and it doesn’t look good.

The clips below reveal what happened when Thicke was forced to explain the part he played in the alleged theft of Marvin Gaye‘s material to build ‘Blurred.’

“Unreal.”

That’s how birthday girl Ciara described her surprise celebration this weekend.

The stage blazer turned 30 on Sunday and footballer boyfriend Russell Wilson threw her a fun-filled bash on the Warner Bros. lot in Los Angeles to mark the momentous occasion. Together, the pair – who have been together since early this year – repped as Catwoman and Batman.

They even arrived in a real-life “Batmobile.”

Attended by a host of major names such as Beyonce and Kelly Rowland, the party saw Ciara surrounded by her nearest and dearest – including her father and mother, Carlton and Jackie Harris (pictured with her above).

Overwhelmed, Ci gushed on Instagram and said to Wilson:

“You Make Me Smile..#TheBestSurpriseBirthdayPartyEver

Babe @DangeRussWilson Way 2 Pull This Off! I’m Still In Shock. You Are My Batman ❤️”

Pop princess Katy Perry may be taking a break from the promo trail for herself (recently wrapping up her ‘Prism’ world tour on October 18th in Costa Rica), but that didn’t stop her from hopping aboard the promo train of presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton at a recent stop in Des Moines, Iowa.

There, in addition to cranking out a few of her own top hits like ‘Roar,’ the diva roared out a spirited rendition of ‘America the Beautiful’ for the reported crowd of 4,000.

Her role in the hit Starz series ‘Power’ has turned her into one of the country’s more recognisable actresses.

However, the entertainment industry wasn’t always as welcoming to Ms. Naturi Naughton, formerly of the Urban Pop group 3LW who was reportedly booted from the trio by management shortly after their ascent to fame.

Alas, even after her alleged firing the singer would face many a closed door when the industry that had pushed the group to superstardom turned its back on her.

CBS‘ ‘We Can Survive’ event served as the latest promotional platform for the singer/songwriter Rihanna yesterday.

There, at the Hollywood Bowl, she pushed and plugged her forthcoming album ‘ANTI’ with a live performance enjoyed by the likes of Joe Jonas and ‘Count Contessa’ rapper Azealia Banks!

The setlist reportedly included numbers such as ‘Bitch Better Have My Money,’ ‘FourFiveSeconds,’ and 2012’s ‘Diamonds.’
