The charge for Kendrick Lamar‘s sophomore album is in full motion.

Moments after announcing ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ as the title of the eagerly awaited LP, Rolling Stone unwrapped their latest cover featuring the Hip-Hop titan.

The promo spot serves as quite the coup for the star, who describes the record as “honest, fearful and unapologetic.”

Look out for ‘Butterfly’ when it flies into stores on March 23rd via Aftermath/Interscope.

Jamie Foxx has touched the top of both Billboard and the box office. As such, it’s no surprise that after an elongated spell away from music, the multi-talented crooner is back with new material.

No timeline has been set for the release the star’s new album (the first since 2008’s ‘Intuition’), however that hasn’t stopped Foxx from firing out fresh songs.

Last Fall brought with it the 2 Chainz assisted ‘Party Ain’t A Party.’ Today, though, ushers in the arrival of ‘P.Y.T.’

Heavily sampling the Michael Jackson classic of the same name, Jamie spreads a tasty coat of DJ Mustard‘s magic and serves up a filling result.

‘Atlantic Records‘ may have a slight problem on their hands if remarks made by British rapper Lady Leshurr make their way to Camp Nicki Minaj ears this week.

For, after fans slammed her decision not to sign with the label when they asked her to compete with the US rapper, Leshurr has taken to Twitter to reveal the offer was far more sinister than most are aware of.

Azealea Banks continues to trail blaze – this time with the video for new single ‘Wallace.’

Housed on the eclectic femcee’s debut album ‘Broke With Expensive Taste,’ the visual for the track is unique in that it elevates “interactive” to a whole new level.

Rolled out in partnership with Google Chrome, the clip makes use of the viewers webcam with cool results.

Speaking on the premiere, Banks told her Twitter followers:

“I’m such a huge fan of technology and creative new ways of interacting and engaging with fans, so this collaboration was perfect for me. Music videos are as much of an art form as the music itself. The more I can push myself in my creative endeavours, the better. Working side by side with this incredible team of tech-creatives was a truly unique and enjoyable experience, and I’m thrilled to be part of a potentially groundbreaking new ‘norm’ in the future of making music videos.”

While Kendrick Lamar‘s talent is unquestionable, the Compton bred rapper left many scratching their heads when the pre-order link for his sophomore album hit the net.

Sporting a 17-song tracklist, the LP – the follow-up to 2013’s ‘good kid, M.A.A.D City’ – was billed as ‘Untitled.’ A fact which had many wondering if the rap titan has christened the project as such.

Fast forward a week and the mystery has been solved.

Taking to Instagram today, the MC shared the project’s official cover and revealed its confirmed name.

For, in a new interview with the newspaper ‘The Guardian‘, a British female rapper has claimed the label planned to use her as Minaj’s replacement…hoping to blow the ‘Feeling Myself’ rapper “out of the water.”
