As muddy messes go, few can rival the all-round ridiculousness of Rihanna‘s eighth album roll-out.

Despite being a part-time singer, but a full time model, the star is – for some strange reason – pursuing the lane of an artiste.

A path, unsurprisingly, that is leading her and the project down a hole some say she’ll struggle to climb out of.

Parallel to the disaster, though, has been a candle of hope from fans that the 27-year-old is cooking up a master-plan of sorts that will reveal itself in a mere moment. “Rihvember” they’ve tirelessly taken to Twitter to chant.

And yet, in the new issue of NME, the Bajan beauty has not only revealed that the project isn’t near completion, she cites Kanye West as one of the causes.

The Kenyan bred beauty nabbed an Oscar for her role in ’12 Years A Slave’ and has gone on to score endless endorsement deals as well as coveted spots in the new ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Jungle Book’ movies.

To warm up the masses up ahead of her the flicks, the actress strikes many a fierce pose in the American instalment of the fashion bible.

The Instagram model serves her usual brand of brash a-front of the publication, which arrives in the wake of confusion surrounding her eighth studio album (which after two years still has no attached release date).

Inside her accompanying interview, the 27-year-old had interesting words when questioned about chart-topping rival Taylor Swift and Roc Nation companion Kanye West.

For over 20 years, Mariah Carey has established herself as an integral part of the modern Christmas.

Indeed, following the blockbuster success of her 1994 hit ‘All I Want For Christmas’ and its housing album ‘Merry Christmas,’ the songbird’s contributions to the festive season have become iconic.

It’s little wonder why the 45-year-old is building on her affiliation with “the most wonderful time of the year.”

Former Girlicious singer Chrystina Sayers made it pop in Toronto recently when she delivered the first live rendition of new single ‘Feel Lit’ at the ‘Emery Festival.’

With choreography created to accompany the song, the re-emerging songstress rocked the event’s audience with hopes of wooing them before the release of the song’s parent EP which hits retailers later on this year.

Hollywood’s remake craze continues.

This time it’s Disney‘s classic cartoon ‘The Jungle Book’ that’s being re-imagined for modern audiences.

Set to hit theaters globally next year, the new incarnation of the film is a live-action affair and boasts jaw-dropping CGI visuals.

Joining the likes of Mowgli and Baloo the bear are actors Lupita Nyong’o and Idris Elba, who feature in the flick alongside Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray, and Christopher Walken.
