2013 may have seen her wreck the competition with her monster hits ‘Wrecking Ball’ and ‘We Can’t Stop,’ but as intense media coverage around her raunchy antics have waned, Miley Cyrus is digging deep into her trusty bag of tricks to reignite interest.

Her latest stunt?

Performing a hee-haw remix to rapper Khia‘s classic cunnilingus ode ‘My Neck, My Back.’  This, of course, after weeks of reports the former Disney darling’s stage show has seen her simulate sex acts with a banana, smoke a joint, and film fans fighting in the audience.

6 years may have separated her from 2008’s ‘The Declaration’ and her most recent album ‘Braveheart’ (2014), but Grammy-winning R&B singer Ashanti is now assuring fans that it won’t be another 6 years before they get new music.

Taking to FOX’s ‘Good Day NY’ this past weekend, the ‘Happy’ hitmaker was on hand spreading ‘Mother’s Day’ cheer by performing a song she wrote with R&B legend Babyface for her own mother/manager.  Before closing out her visit, the diva also confirmed she is working on a new album, with its lead single coming before the summer’s end!

Season 14 of ‘American Idol’ ended on a very high note, if we must say so ourselves.

As reported here, FOX assembled some of the biggest names in music to send off the penultimate season of its talent show juggernaut.  Tapping the likes of singers Chris Brown, Janelle Monae, and Jamie Foxx to lend live renditions of their latest hits, the show’s judges – Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, and Harry Connick, Jr. – also got in on some of the action.

Having championed the lyrics “Who run the world? Girls!”, it’s little surprise that Beyonce is seemingly throwing her support behind US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The renown political figure is widely considered a shoo-in for the Democratic’s top pick to succeed Barack Obama. Yet, she’s not resting on her laurels and tonight hosted a star-studded campaign event, which Queen Bey attended.

Miguel is wasting no time hitting the campaign trail for new single ‘Coffee.’

Fresh from serving up the cut on iTunes, the soul-filled crooner poured it out with a new arrangement on Jack Daniels Uncut Sessions.

Backed by a full band, the 29-year-old rouses with the showing of the track, the first release from third album ‘Wildheart’ (due June 30th).

With his unmistakable rasp, street-suffused songs, and trusted guitar, Lyfe Jennings continues to breath new life into R&B some 11 years since his debut.

Packing a poetic punch into his biggest hits (see:  “Hypothetically,” “Must Be Nice,” “Busy,” and more), Jennings has always been an anomaly on the Urban scene, daring to offer lyrics of depth even since his beginnings at the height of the “crunk movement.”  And, as his newest offering ‘Tree of Lyfe’ (due June 23rd) shows, the singer/songwriter has no intentions of abandoning his tried and true sonic or lyrical formula anytime soon.

In maintaining composure to the masses, the Island spice charges on with her endorsement commitments, the latest being for fashion house Dior.

The 27-year-old Instagram model glows all sorts of gorgeous in the Dior Secret Garden campaign, which has gone live today.

Beyonce leads the music community in celebrating the 65th birthday of the legendary Stevie Wonder.

Queen Bey has released behind the scenes footage of her rehearsal for the Grammy’s tribute to the piano-playing icon; a showing which saw her wow with Ed Sheeran and Gary Clark Jr back in February.
