With the piercing lens on civil rights seemingly at its height yet again some 50 years later, the release of ‘Selma’ – a film depicting the historic Martin Luther King Jr.-led voting-rights march from Selma, Alabama to the state capitol of Montgomery in 1965, couldn’t come at a more opportune time.

That Grape Juice was privy to an advanced screening of the Ava Duvernay film and now offer to you, courtesy of our resident editor Richard Pittman, a review of the movie that we can tell in earnest will be done a great disservice if not decorated with the award golds it so rightly deserves.

Both Rita Ora and Charli XCX enjoyed mega-success last year with their respective collaborations with Iggy Azalea.

Now, the Pop starlets have interestingly teamed up for a track of their own.

23-year-old Ora joins the ‘Fancy’ singer on the remix of her new single ‘Doing It’, a still from the video of which was revealed today. Check it out above.

The next few months are set to be uber busy for Roc Nation Rita. For, beyond this collabo, she’s gearing up to release her own new single ‘Testosterone’ in March, will begin starring as a coach on The Voice UK from this weekend, and will unleash her hotly anticipated new album (which’ll dub as her US debut) this Summer.

Fifth Harmony are swinging their way up the charts with new single ‘Sledgehammer’.

Yet, with debut album ‘Reflection’ due out in a mere matter of weeks, the Epic Records collective have put their spin on one the year’s biggest hits thus far – Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’.

Weeks before she’s set to attend this year’s Grammy awards ceremony, ‘Beg For It‘ rapper Iggy Azalea has revealed that she is confused by the heat she is currently facing for performing what she has called “black music.”

Speaking to ‘Vanity Fair‘, the entertainer opened up when quizzed on claims that the criticism she was facing was misogynistic, comparing herself to the likes of Macklemore, Elvis Presley and the Rolling Stones.
