Indeed, despite its supporting album ‘R.E.D’ struggling to live up commercial expectations in the US, the album’s European chart run has seen the singer’s stock as a live act flourish as a result- as seen in the launch of his UK arena tour.
A feat very few acts from any market can say they achieved in the last decade, Mr ‘Compound’s current touring venture has already seen him sell 20,000 tickets for a single date at London’s 02 Arena, no doubt cementing his status as one of R&B’s strongest contenders.
