After a brief rest on the bench, Cover Star returns this week.

Today’s effort comes via Desi, who delivers his own take on Ciara‘s new hit ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love.’

Though pitchy at points, this was solid.

Beyond being blazing, one of the reasons we’re so enamoured with the song is how well-paired it is with Ci’s sweet tone. That said, Desi’s rendition highlights that the track also works well with a male vocal.

Again, solid.

Superstar singer Ciara is covering all bases.

For, while setting pulses racing last night with the dangerously divine video for ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love,’ the diva was all smiles at the 2015 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Sports Awards.

The 29-year-old had not one but two dates for the evening – new beau Russell Wilson (who hosted the show) and her adorable one year old son, Future Jr.

It’s finally here…

Ciara‘s newest video, ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love,’ has finally made its way to VEVO.

Lifted from her sixth album, the R&B #1 ‘Jackie,’ the Dave Meyers-directed visual also made its premiere on Sony’s big screen billboard in New York’s Times Square tonight and serves as the follow-up to ‘I Bet.’

‘Real Sisters’ hitmaker Future kept it all the way real during a recent interview with Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club when quizzed on his recent comments about his sex life with Grammy winning ex-girlfriend Ciara.

Keeping it cool overall, when mention of their child – Future Jr. – arose, the rapper heated up quite a bit for Ci allowing her current boyfriend, footballer Russell Wilson, to be so involved in the 1-year-old’s life.

In addition, the proud papa of 4 minced no words with his disappointment for her keeping mum as the media continues to slam him as an absentee father and cheater.

Ciara earned praise aplenty this week after taking on the US National Anthem at the MLB All-Star Game.

If looking fierce was a sport, Ciara would no doubt hold the championship.

The singer, who has been named as the new face of both Roberto Cavalli and  Topshop USA, looked all sorts of lush as she arrived at the 2015 ESPY‘s with footballer beau Russell Wilson.

29-year-old Ci color co-ordinated the 26-year-old Seattles Seahawks player, and had heads turning for all the right reasons.

Today is the day!

Ciara‘s newest video, ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love,’ makes its hotly anticipated debut tonight on VEVO.

Speaking to That Grape Juice recently, the singer deemed the Dave Meyers visual as her best yet.

It’s little wonder, then, why she’s excited to share a multitude of previews ahead of its arrival.

As well as giving Access Hollywood a behind the scenes look at the making of the clip, Ci has also taken to Instagram to showcase a snippet.

Ciara is set to show the masses how to ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love.’

The sensual jam, which is lifted from the songbird’s sixth studio album ‘Jackie,’ will see its visual unveiled on Sony’s big screen billboard in Times Square New York tomorrow (July 16th).

Directed by music video maestro Dave Meyers, the clip serves as the project’s second – following ‘I Bet.’

The 86th Annual MLB All-Star game was treated to a rousing rendition of the U.S. National Anthem by ‘I Bet’ belter Ciara tonight.

Held at Cincinnati’s Great American Ball Park, the outing comes as the Grammy winner’s first televised showing of the famously trying number.

Classy.

It’s an approach Ciara has taken for much of her career. Indeed, so much so, that some claim it’s been to her detriment in an era that seems to favour all things ratchet.

As such, it’s not surprising that even when firing back at former fiance Future, she’s maintained said classiness.

Yesterday, as reported, the rapper broke his silence on his split from the ‘I Bet’ belter – touting professional frictions as one of the break-up catalysts.

However, Ci is seemingly hearing none of it.

Since parting ways last year, former couple Future and Ciara have maintained a dignified silence as pertains to their break-up.

Instead, the once engaged pair – who have a son together – have tried to re-affix the focus on their respective new projects, ‘Jackie’ and ‘DS2.’

Currently on the promo trail for the latter, Future has used a new video diary, titled ‘Like I Never Left,’ to share his side of some of the conflict that led to the public parting.
