Call it a clapback!

After a week of ill-informed media outlets painting her as Milli Vanilli following “that” performance at President Obama‘s inauguration, Beyonce served up quite the response at the Super Bowl 2012 press conference in New Orleans today.

 Indeed, prior to promising an “announcement” following her performance this Sunday, the 31 year old belted out the US National Anthem acapella – asking immediately after “any questions?”

This afternoon saw Rihanna leave the Gansevoort Hotel in Manhattan in style, days before fellow chart topper Beyonce graces Super Bowl 2013 with her hotly anticipated Half Time extravaganza.

Reportedly snapped on the way to her airport, the ‘Final Goodbye’ singer left the city days before she’s set to arrive at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, where she will be joined by the likes of Frank Ocean, Alicia Keys- confirmed performers on the night.

Frank Ocean is set to switch the Grammy Awards onto ‘Channel Orange’ come February 10th. For, it was announced moments ago that the singer-songwriter will be gracing the stage at music’s biggest calendar night.

With the US in their sights, Little Mix aren’t forgetting their home-grown fans.

The Pop quad today unveiled the video for their new UK single ‘Change Your Life’. Produced by Biffco, the inspiring track is the fourth to be lifted from the ladies debut album ‘DNA’. Its predecessors ‘DNA’, ‘Wings’, and ‘Cannonball’ all achieved top ten success upon release, with the latter two topping the Official UK Singles Chart.

No stranger to barely-there outfits, Mariah Carey donned quite the interesting ensemble while out and about in New York this week.

The 42 year old American Idol judge turned heads in a figure-hugging all-black get-up, which put her abs of full display.

And while casually strolling the street in such a revealing number wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for Mimi, the singer Tweeted shortly after the pic was snapped:

Jury’s out on whether “pondeset” means video shoot or photoshoot, however it appears Mariah is up to something.

Alicia Keys‘ new album ‘Girl On Fire’ may not be setting any chart ablaze, but that hasn’t stopped the star from booking many a major promo spot in support of the set.

For, following her scheduled performance of the US National Anthem at this Sunday’s Super Bowl, the 32 year old has today been announced as the latest star to join the performer line-up at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.

As reported here, ‘Moment 4 Life’ maestra Nicki Minaj was one of many top stars who released albums in 2012 that did not see their names aboard the 2013 Grammys nominations list.

Like ‘Beauty & the Beat’ co-star Justin Bieber‘s faithful followers, Minaj’s faithful Barbs have cried “foul” on the academy’s front. To the surprise of some, however, it seems Nicki has a different take on the snub.
