And… again with this? I don´t like to defend someone I don´t like that much but seriously… why do u care if he wrote a letter or not? Even if it was a publicity stunt it was one or two in a whole year… most of the people complaining on her stan for people who do it once a month… or a week: Rihanna, Chris Brown, Madonna, Lady Gaga, etc please give me a break
Another thing: you can say his music is boring, you don´t like it, etc, it´s your taste and I can understand why you feel that, he´s really not commercial. But saying his music is WACK? Really? It´s undeniable this guy has much talent for making music. Accept it and move on. More people knew him cos of the letter (me included), but he was being already praised before that. it´s the typical artist critics love, it´s always been like that, no commercial appeal but undeniable talent

I’m not here for Frank “Gay for Pay” “I’m Coming Out” Ocean. All he does is use hype and sympathy to push this CO project. Hopefully the Grammys sees through his average music.

It’s shocking to see people in the black community approach his sexuality with such ignorance. It’s as if the entire black suffrage movement was completely lost on them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but if you can’t trace the similarities in the oppression and abuse I feel sorry for you.

I still think Frank took the easy way with that letter of his but it still does not take away from his talent It still saddens me that he has to use so many stunts to get noticed, does he not trust that his music and talent are good enough. Chris with all his flaws is a good singer and a brilliant entertainer just like Beyonce, MJ and James Brown. FYI I am not comparing the above mentioned I am only listing people that are considered entertainers. The comparison between these two men is unwarranted simply because they are in two different lanes. This generation needs to learn to appreciate talent without having to compare artists. I sincerely hope he will move away from this stunt driven promo otherwise he will find himself in an awkward position of having to dress up like Nicki Minaj for his next album cover.
