14-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys has been appointed the task of kicking off the third season of Oprah‘s critically acclaimed series ‘Master Class’ (OWN).

Detailing her storied career, fans of the songstress can expect to hear stories about her time with music mogul Clive Davis, marriage to producer/rapper Swizz Beatz, motherhood, music, and more.

While the bulk of her cause has been sullied by a never ending stream of feuds, Azealia Banks has done a pretty good job of establishing herself as a ‘music led musician’, in an age where most of her contemporaries truly are models with mics.

However, while the last year has seen her brand go from strength to strength thanks to a consistent supply of engaging material, this week has saw her parade rained on when long running nemesis Iggy Azalea fired shots her way via ‘Shut Your Pretty Mouth’ magazine.

This, months after Azealia sparked a mini race row over a lyric in an Azalea cut, in which she referred to herself as a ‘runaway slave master‘.

‘Love & War’ wailer Tamar Braxton is prepping her new album for battle of Billboard’s top spot this spring.  And, while the set’s lead single saw it comfortably perched atop Itunes tallies barely a day after its release, the youngest of the Braxton clan is looking to ensure the single’s successors see the same treatment.

Taking to Jacksonville’s V101.5 radio station this week to lend fans a first listen at some of the album’s other offerings, the songstress unveiled two new tunes – one of which is set to be ‘War’s’ follow-up.
