Nicki Minaj was in good company last night, when she spent her Oscar night at Elton John’s viewing party with fellow A-listers Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus.

Sporting her MAC Viva Glam lipstick, the chart topping Rapper posed it up with many of the night’s attendees shortly after watching many of her singles reach multi-Platinum status by way of her ever loyal Barbz.

Indeed, before rubbing shoulders with the likes of Chelsea Handler, Kourtney Kardashian– the ‘I Am Your Leader’ lyricist saw her 2011 single ‘Fly’ certified Platinum for sales of 1 million US copies and her party anthems ‘Super Bass’ and ‘Starships’ both certified Quadruple Platinum for sales of 4 million units.

Quite interestingly, the MC did not arrive at the event alone.

Yes, in what we’d say is all too telling of her rising influence on the worlds music and cosmetics, she hit the event with Estee Lauder‘s President John Demsey.

As predicted, after nabbing the year’s ‘Best Song’ Golden Globe for her hit single ‘Skyfall’ (the theme song to the latest James Bond movie installment of the same name), the ‘Rolling In the Deep’ diva now adds ‘Academy Award’ winner to her list of achievements after walking away with this year’s ‘Best Song’ honor.

Beating top acts like Taylor Swift, Jon Bon Jovi, and more, the win comes shortly after Miss Adkins brought the house down with a performance of the tune.  See that here.

As we told you here, ‘Spotlight’ singer Jennifer Hudson would be part of an all-star lineup set to tribute the resurgence of musicals in mainstream cinema with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Anne Hathaway, and more.

However, when Hudson took the stage to sing her rendition of hit ‘Dreamgirls’ song ‘And I Am Telling You’, the spotlight was indeed all hers – lending a fiery performance that brought the audience to its feet.

Cop a gander of Kelly Rowland!

The Destiny’s Child graduate looked all sorts of lush as she walked the red carpet at the 85th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles moments ago.

As reported by our sisters over at She Is Diva, the 32 year old is co-hosting the Oscars 2013 Red Carpet Show. Yet looking the way she does, everyone else might as well go home. Stunning.

Your thoughts?

It seems Rihanna‘s new single ‘Stay’ has taken a leaf out of the singer’s vocal stylings…in being inconsistent.

For, after giving the impression is was on its way to claiming the UK #1 spot, this week has seen the stunning cut take an unexpected dip on the charts, while Emeli Sande and Beyonce have made significant gains.

Though not quite Destiny’s Child, sister quad Cherish served as one of the more notable girl group’s to emerge once Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams went their separate ways in 2005.

Enjoying hits such as ‘Do It To It’ and ‘Unappreciated’, the Atlanta bred beauties looked poised for major success. That is, until their record label merged with another – leaving much of the roster, Cherish included, in disarray.

And while two of the group would try and press on as a duo, it clear Cherish is where the heart and money is. For, the ladies have announced they are making a comeback; and sooner than you think too.

Renown for speaking every corner of his mind, Kanye West lived up to tradition at his London concert last night.

In a sensational outburst following a performance ‘Clique’, the rapper relayed his hate for industry businessmen, as well as his dislike of Justin Timberlake‘s new single ‘Suit & Tie’ (being sure to assert his love for friend and song’s feature artist Jay-Z first). Most shocking, though, was West’s words on the Grammy’s – who he colorfully declared can “suck his d**k” after the industry juggernaut supposedly disrespected him.
