When its sales and streaming figures are combined, Lady GaGa‘s 2009 release ‘Bad Romance’ now sits at 10 million milestone, making her the first female recipient of the Recording Industry Association of America‘s Diamond award!

Surpassing efforts made by chart-toppers Adele, Beyonce, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey, her acceptance of the award this week was followed by a touching tweet published by the organisation, praising the accomplishment and the piano playing Pop princess behind it!

Kid Ink hits the refresh button on his career today, reigniting interest in his debut LP ‘My Own Lane’ with the release of the second visual for the single ‘Main Chick.’

Why there are two videos?

Well, as to give its Tyga-assistted remix some visual life of its own, Ink joins Chris Brown (above) in welcoming its official video, doing so two months after ‘Lane’ surpasses sales of 116,000 units in the US.

Danity Kane kicked off their hotly anticipated ‘No Filter Tour’ in San Francisco last night.

As reported, the show was bittersweet in that it saw original member Aundrea Fimbres wave goodbye to the group, announcing her pregnancy live on stage.

Still, proving that DK are just as fierce as a trio, the remaining members gave fans a meaty taste of the material set to feature on their upcoming third album.

Having served up a welcome helping of ‘Lemonade’, flip the hood to see what else Dawn, Shannon, and Aubrey have been cooking up!

As reported, Aundrea Fimbres is bringing her Danity Kane journey to an end at the climax of the group’s ‘No Filter Tour’. Yet for Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and Shannon Bex it’s business as usual.

The trio’s new single ‘Lemonade’ was greeted by ample fanfare upon its debut on Thursday and has wracked up an incredible 300,000 views in less than 24 hours.

Contrary to popular belief, Mariah Carey remains one of Pop’s more competent vocalists, despite seeing her voice weathered by time and years of live singing.

Unfortunately, live singing was completely on her agenda today, when she performed on the ‘Today Show’ in support of her new LP ‘Me.I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse.’ 

Well, at least according to the show’s attendees. For, during her performance of her classic number ‘Always Be My Baby’, her crowd caught quite the surprise when “live vocals” that were transmitted to viewers at home did not “appear” on stage, seeing Mimi belt out…well…a number of “missing” notes.
