With the Pop landscape still a’buzzing following the official reformation of the original Sugababes, the ladies – who aptly go by Mutya Keisha Siobhan – hit the studio today to ensure they capitalise on the gargantuan interest by delivering solid material.

The trio were all smiles as they wrapped up another track for their as yet untitled project – the lead single from which (we hear) is due…”imminently”.

Britney Spears gets a one, two touch of Photoshop in the new promotionals for X Factor USA season 2.

And while she -give or take- looks great, we can’t help but feel the “artificial” nature of the shot will mimic the editing of her judging ability on the show. Call us cut throat, but it’s clear Simon Cowell and co signed her on the basis of her name, rather than ability. The woman can’t perform, nor even sit through interviews anymore. How or why should she be expected to fare any better on live TV is bewildering.

In any case, being the fair and unbias site we are, we’ll wait until the show’s premiere in September to see how her narrative plays out. In the meanwhile, peep another pic after the jump…
