Over its 13 year run, American Idol has served as quite the credible talent factory.

Looking to follow in the successful steps of previous winners Fantasia and Kelly Clarkson is last season’s champion Candice Glover.

The vocal powerhouse spent much of the last twelve months cooking up her debut album ‘Music Speaks’ – which hits stores February 18th. 

That Grape Juice caught up with the Glover recently and chatted it up about the ‘Cried’ led project (which she revealed features contributions from the likes of Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins and Jazmine Sullivan). The singer also spilled on her time post-Idol, admiring Christina Aguilera, and more.

‘Fire’ singer Michelle Williams ignited Yankee Stadium when took to the ice recently to share another stunning rendition of the U.S. National Anthem.

Helping kick off the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series, the Grammy-winner – bundled up from head to toe – let loose with a version of the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ that amped fans up for the puck-slapping showdown that was set to ensue.

After this week’s season finale pulled in a sweet 4.2 million viewers, VH1‘s ‘Love & Hip Hop New York’ answered the prayers of many a fan hours ago, when they revealed their show would be returning for a fifth season later on this year.

Now, with her on-screen persona doing its part to push the series to ratings glory, it’s Erica Mena‘s musical endeavours that have now taken centre stage, with the platform employed to push her brand new single ‘Dancing All Over the World.’

Following a year long hiatus from music, Rita Ora is getting ready to rocket back onto the scene.

The Roc Nation priori spent much of last year racking up endless endorsement deals with the likes of Rimmel and Adidas, as well as filming her role in the much-talked about ’50 Shades of Grey’ movie.

During a visit to BBC Radio 1 this morning, the singer was keen to stress that she’s also been using the downtime to record her hotly anticipated sophomore album – which she confirmed is now finished.

Most exciting though, is the fact that the Jay-Z protégé revealed that the project’s lead single is due any moment now.
