This week saw Simon Cowell wield the axe on the X Factor USA stints of Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul, and host Steve Jones.

Just like that the trio who anchored the heavily hyped show were uprooted and dashed to one side. In painfully public view

And yet while the masses have been largely empathetic toward the set, attention has immediately shifted to who will replace them. Indeed, almost instantly thrown into the fray were names such as Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and X Factor UK judge Kelly Rowland.

Peep the cast of sitcom classic The Cosby Show – who reunited recently for this intimate portrait.

Lead by Bill and matriarch Clare (played by Phylicia Rashad), the Cosby’s were revolution in many a way – mos notably their positive portrayal of the “Black family”. A portrayal which, prior to its  mid 80’s to 1992 run, was largely rooted in stereotypes.

Much like the timeless episodes of the show we loved to love, it’s great to see the cast have aged like a fine wine.

Apparently ready for the big game, the New York native played muse once again to famed photographer Terry Richardson in this set of snaps uploaded to his e-diary today. The ‘Born This Way’ beauty is seen in the black-and-white collection striking a surprisingly demure set of poses in the candid shots.  A trend (aka dressing normally), as of late, fans have seen more of.

Don’t call it a comeback.

Looks like fans were looking to give ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ maestra Madonna a little more just their love as reports are surfacing the single’s parent album ‘MDNA’ has skyrocketed to #1 in 49 countries!  Just hours after getting fans familiar with the ‘Luvin’ visual, the diva is dominating Itunes charts globally.

Less than 12 hours from its Itunes pre-order release, the set (not due until March 26th) is finding itself atop Itunes listings in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and France just to name a few .

If this is any indication of what is to come, the ‘Take a Bow’ beauty is assuredly readying a takeover of Billboard charts in late March.  Until then, fans can expect to see her takeover their tubes for this Sunday’s Superbowl.

‘E.T.’ beauty Katy Perry is certainly looking to make a splash with her recent David Lachapelle-snapped photos for GHD hair utensils.  Much like fellow eccentric Lady Gaga, Perry is seen posing it up as a glam mermaid for the haircare giant’s Air hairdryer.

Surrounded by an array of underwater decorations, the Ariel-channeled snaps surface days before the starlet is set to take the Grammy stage and compete for two of the highly coveted trophies.  The appearance will mark her first major televised showing since her divorce from comedian Russell Brand.

‘Dip It Low’ diva Christina Milian has certainly kept a low profile over the last few months, only gracing headlines for The Dream-related drama and occasional snapshots of outings.  Now, the former Disney darling has joined the cast of NBC’s hit reality talent show ‘The Voice’ and is using her voice to act as the show’s Social Media Correspondent.

Still promising faithful fans she is putting the finishing touches on a forthcoming LP, Milian has shifted her focus for now to ‘The Voice’ and all related ventures – starting with hyping its sophomore season premiere this Sunday (following the Superbowl).
