Get into these shots of ‘We Found Love’ beauty Rihanna enjoying last night’s LA Clippers V Miami Heat game at the Staples Center.

Spotted in the company of what appears to be a younger fan, the casually dressed songstress was seen gorging on beer and Pop corn not long after she discovered that ‘We Found Love‘ – the first single to be lifted from ‘Talk That Talk‘- had reached the top of the US singles chart for the 9th time.

Much to the delight of those in favor of Pop belle Rihanna, last night saw her pick up the ‘Favorite R&B Female‘ at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards.

However, as is the case with most things linked to the performer, her win has been overshadowed by criticism from those who claim that she shouldn’t have been nominated in that category in the first place, seeing as her music is widely regarded as being of the Pop persuasion.

Now we want you to weigh in.

Do you think Rihanna is an R&B act?

With just a month to the day left before the 54th annual Grammy Awards, ‘Moment 4 Life‘ maestra Nicki Minaj sees her name not only on the nominee list but also leading the lineup.  Taking to their official Twitter page moments ago, the Grammys unveiled:

Up for 3 awards (including Best New Artist), Minaj welcomes the news days before the reported unleash of her highly anticipated visual for ‘Stupid Hoe’ – one of two leading singles from her Valentine’s Day release ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’.

Keep it locked to That Grape Juice as more performers are rolled out for the star-studded showing set to air February 12 only on CBS!

‘Like A Prayer’ performer Madonna is apparently looking to answer the prayers of many-a-fan who have long awaited the follow-up to her 2008 #1 album ‘Hard Candy’.  In conjunction with keeping herself atop headlines for temporarily trading in her ‘diva’ title for ‘director’ billing in ‘W.E.’, the singer is readying a comeback to Billboard with ‘MDNA’ – her 12th.  Premiering its lead single via live performance at this year’s SuperBowl, the ‘Hung Up’ hitmaker enlisted rap eccentric Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. for backing on the album’s first single ‘Give Me All Your Love’.

While fans anxiously await the song’s official unveiling, Madge is oiling up her promo machine and it begins with an interview on ABC’s ‘NightLine’.  Set to air tomorrow night, Miss Ciccone has already alluded to thoughts on pop predecessor Lady Gaga, but see what she had to say about other heir to throne Britney Spears in this alternate preview of the forthcoming interview:

Review of the refreshed Billboard tally tomorrow will find ‘We Found Love’ back atop the Hot 100 after a brief dethrone by ‘Sexy And I Know It’ duo LMFAO.  For what comes as the 9th non-consecutive week, Rihanna‘s faithful Navy have assisted her float back to rule over the singles chart – helping the songstress notch her longest reign yet on that front.

Elsewhere, gal pal Katy Perry was previously showing unstoppable signs of unseating LMFAO from the top spot, but ‘The One That Got Away’ is looking more like the one that won’t make it to #1 as it drops from 3-6.  Despite an acclaimed remix featuring B.O.B. and discounting the song, the former Mrs. Brand has yet to land her record breaking 6th no. 1 single from parent album ‘Teenage Dream’.

Filling out the rest of the charts, Adele (who is currently number 1 on Billboard’s album tally) continues her double dominance of the top 10 with ‘Set Fire To The Rain’ at no. 4 and ‘Someone Like You’ slipping to number 10.  And, while Jay Z/Kanye West and Flo Rida stay put with ‘Ni**as in Paris’ (#7) and ‘Good Feeling’ (#5) respectively, crooner Bruno Mars moves his ‘It Will Rain’ up to the no. 3 spot.

She might be celebrating her 41st birthday today, but seems the Queen of Hip Hop Soul has decided to gift her fans instead.  As is now well known, ‘I’m The One’ co-stars Mary J. Blige and Drake reteamed for ‘Mr. Wrong’ – the second official lift from her 10th studio album ‘My Life II:  The Journey Continues’.  While fans were used to seeing the music monarch take to the stage without the Torontoian’s assistance performing the song, they responded with mixed reviews when he was noticeably absent from the song’s accompanying visual.

Now, in a bid to give ‘Mr. Wrong’ the right treatment, the ‘Headlines’ rapper can now be seen making a cameo in the reboot of the beloved slow jam’s video.  Was Drizzy the missing piece from this puzzle?

With the countdown to Madonna‘s musical return in full swing, the Pop royal is clawing her way back into the spotlight.

Having today revealed that her forthcoming album is titled ‘M.D.N.A’, the singer stepped out for the London premiere of ‘W.E’ – her latest effort as a movie director.

For many, though, tonight’s showing is little more than a cleverly orchestrated means of relaunching her media presence. Indeed, ‘W.E’ already received a London premiere last October at the BFI London Film Festival; while it’s no coincidence that the release of her new single ‘Gimmie Your Luvin’ and high-profile Superbowl performance are merely weeks away.

Got to love how the “premium” acts have their strategy on point!
