Melanie Fiona may be known for showing off her fierce vocals, but the latest issue of YRB magazine saw the songstress show off another flavor of that fierceness.  Joined by Mayer Hawthorne (with J. Cole rocking the cover), the Canadian beauty’s swanky shoot was shot by Carlos Arias at New York’s Juliet Supper Club.

In related news, Fiona has much to look forward to in the new year.  Aside from snagging two Grammy nods for her work with Cee Lo Green on ‘Fool For You’, her highly anticipated forthcoming release, ‘The MF Life’, is expected to hit shelves the first quarter of 2012.

Pint sized ‘Promise Ring’ belter Tiffany Evans has found much favor with fans and critics alike with her mixtape single ‘Won’t Find Me’.  The video, which is presently gaining quite the buzz for the “little lady”, was unveiled three weeks ago much to the delight of the starlet’s ever-growing fan base.

The last week of December will see Billboard release the final Year End Chart for the period December 2010 to November 2011.

Expected to confirm that Adele‘s ‘21‘  is the highest selling release of the year, this year has seen the chart anticipated like never before with the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady GaGa, Lil Wayne and ‘The Throne‘ all making major moves  their respective projects within the last twelve months.

However, it would seem despite the intense competition it faced this year, one album in particular has managed to exceed sales expectations in a way many thought it never would.
