With sales of The-Dream‘s latest album ‘IV Play’ quite the nightmare, it figures that the hitmaker would be on edge if or when questioned about it.

It’s a lesson one Twitter commenter learnt the hard way upon confronting the ‘Umbrella’ songwriter on the so-so numbers of the project – which has only sold 43,000 since release last month.

While the US is still on its way to truly understanding, Europe wasted no time embracing Lana Del Rey upon her arrival last year.

In capitalising on her popularity there, April 3rd saw her arrive in France to kick off the ‘Paradise Tour’ at Galaxie Amnéville, the same market that took her debut album ‘Born To Die’ straight to #1.

Jay Z rewrites all the rules with his new album ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’, as seen in a new promo ad released in its aid.

Featuring a number of the Rapper’s closest celeb pals, the footage sees him hard at work days before the album’s July 4th release date. A date, which the MC hopes will see the entire world listen to the project at the same time.

While the likes of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera used their machines to push and promote meaningful and lasting numbers, Miley Cyrus seems hellbent on using her PR machine to present Hip Hop fuelled hypersexual version of herself…and it isn’t working.

Indeed, in whipping up a performance of the ‘try hard’ persuasion for Jimmy Kimmel Live, the would be bad girl found herself taking part in a poorly thought out Rihanna tribute….embarrassing on all fronts.

And while such a phrase is often used flippantly for artists, in the 23-year-old’s case it rings true in a much more literal sense.

Last January saw the stage blazer break his neck while rehearsing for a world tour, putting not just his career at stake — but his life.

Fast forward a year and Derulo is back, better, and on the brink of releasing his third studio album (due in September).
