Pop icon Whitney Houston sat down with Access Hollywood in an exclusive interview on the set of her latest movie ‘Sparkle’ (also featuring Jordin Sparks).  The first time the Grammy-winning diva has made waves on the silver screen in over a decade, she dished on everything from late R&B starlet Aaliyah‘s involvement in the film to her co-stars in this two part interview (airing Monday and Tuesday).

However, fans were particularly happy when reports from earlier this year suggested  that ‘Getting To Happy:  Waiting To Exhale 2‘ would be in the works featuring prequel co-stars Angela Bassett, Lorretta Devine, and Lela Rochon.

If the numbers are anything to go by, fans couldn’t wait to tune in to last Thursday’s premiere of Braxton Family Values season 2.  The show, which was already WEtv’s highest rated, blasted onto the ratings tally with some impressive numbers.

Braxton Family Values ranked as the #1 telecast for women 18-34 (108% increase from last season’s premiere) and #3 for women 25-54 during primetime among all ad-supported cable when the show returned for its second season on Thursday, November 10.  The series also ranked as the #1 show among African-American viewers during primetime for all key women and adult demo deliveries.
Congratulations are in order for Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar.  Fans can continue catching all the madness, music, and mayhem on Wetv every Thursday at 9/8c.

Pop imposter Rihanna unveils the latest set of promo shots from her forthcoming ‘Talk That Talk’ album.  The album, which hits stores next Monday (November 21st), has suffered somewhat of a setback due to a leak that has made its rounds on the net.  Needless to say, even if that ever-so elusive #1 album is no longer within grasp, her ever-so faithful Navy will certainly keep the lifted singles afloat (with two currently in the Top 20 and ‘You Da One’ sure to follow).
