Jennifer Hudson is ready to challenge Chris Brown for the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 next week. The singer took over BET’s ‘106 & Park’ last evening and wowed the audience with a mini concert of tracks from her new album, ‘I Remember Me’.

Hudson’s setlist included ‘Where You At’, ‘Angel’, ‘Gone’, ‘I Got This’ and ‘Spotlight’ from her debut self-titled LP. Check out the entire show below:

The Jennifer Lopez promo blitz is in full effect. The entertainer unveiled the official artwork for her upcoming 2nd single, ‘I’m Into You (Ft. Lil Wayne)’, from her upcoming ‘Love?’ album today as well as the cover of a promotional record entitled ‘Papi’.

‘I’m Into You’ will be released on April 5th followed by the latter which will debut on April 19th. The LP’s title track will also hit airwaves on April 26th just before the release of the album on May 3rd. JLo is back and she is taking no prisoners!

Chris Brown had a a very busy day in New York City yesterday. However, the ‘Beautiful People’ singer took a break from the promo trail for his ‘F.A.M.E’ LP to play basketball with friends in Manhattan before celebrating the debut of the album alongside Bow Wow, Kevin McCall and others at a launch party for the disc at Webster Hall.

Initially a little cynical about this all, yours truly was pleasantly surprised with how legitimate Aubrey and the show come across. Put simply, this is essential viewing.

While media outlets continue to focus on Chris Brown’s eventful interview on ‘Good Morning America’ today, many have forgotten that the he also performed live in the show’s studio. The entertainer delivered a rousing performance of his club anthem ‘Yeah 3x’, proving that, despite what the tabloids might report, he is one of the best in the dancers game today.

2010 was a year of ups and downs for Grammy Award-winning hitmaker Ne-Yo. The singer welcomed a daughter and scored a #1 single in the UK with ‘Beautiful Monster’ but also had to endure lackluster sales with his most recent album, ‘Libra Scale’.

In an exclusive chat with That Grape Juice, Ne-Yo addressed several points including why his album stalled on the charts and the musical direction of his next studio effort. The ever-opinionated artist also openly shared his thoughts on Usher’s upcoming “Revolutionary Pop” album, writing songs for Beyonce’s new project as well as working with Jennifer Hudson.

Additionally, Ne-Yo discussed his distaste for “lazy” singers who overuse auto-tune and his thoughts on Rihanna’s vocal ability in relation to that trend.

The 1st major chart battle of 2011 is finally here! However, this is a showdown with a twist as it will take place between 2 completely different types artists – Jennifer Hudson and Chris Brown.

Hudson’s ‘I Remember Me’ serves as the singer’s 2nd studio album, following her gold-certified self-titled debut LP which was released in 2008. The record, which includes credits from Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, R. Kelly and Dianna Warren, has received generally positive reviews from critics across the board.

On the other side of the spectrum, Brown’s ‘F.A.M.E’ album is already being heralded as the year’s comeback project to watch. Preceded by the worldwide smash ‘Yeah 3x’ and the unexpected hit ‘Deuces (Ft. Tyga & Kevin McCall)’, the collection comprises a blockbuster lineup of collaborators such as Lil Wayne and Justin Bieber.
