The girls continue to show the charts who really run this as Billboard has unveiled its latest chart movements for the week.  The tally, which refreshes tomorrow, sees previous chart champions Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera return to the #1 spot just one week after being bumped by British beauty Adele‘s ‘Someone Like You’.  The latter now takes the #2 spot.

While not much other movement made news, the queen of bleats over beats Rihanna notched her 19th Top 10 entry on the Billboard Hot 100 with ‘Cheers’.  Although the last single lifted from her ‘Loud’ era (and album), the Barbadian beauty is said to be giving fans new reasons to cheer as she is presently microwaving more popcorn pop hits for inclusion on its 2012 follow-up.
