Adele may be on a musical hiatus as she adapts to life as a mother, but that hasn’t stopped the performance requests from flowing in.

For, after much ado about whether the Londoner would take to the stage at the Golden Globes or the Oscars this year, it has been confirmed that the 24 year old will perform at the latter on February 24th.

 TLC may be on a hiatus, but that hasn’t stopped lead vocalist T-Boz from launching new material of her own, via a cut named ‘Champion‘.

Initially mentioned during the singer’s ‘Totally T-Boz‘ reality series, today saw the song arrive in its entirety and will no doubt surprise any who doubted her ability to craft a solid tune.

For,  by way of its well written verses, ‘catchy’ hook and flattering production, the number has us wondering what else Boz has lined up for fans in the coming year.

As reported here, ‘American Idol’ alums Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks are set to join forces in the Alicia Keys-produced film ‘The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete’.

The George Tillman-directed movie, said to also feature an all-star cast that includes the likes of Anthony Mackie and Jeffery Wright, sees Hudson play a drug-addicted mother whose eventual downfall forces her young son to raise himself.  Click PLAY above to see the fiery exchange between J-Hud and the young actor.

No word on a release date for the film.

As reported, Pop royal Prince is making a beeline for the Billboard Music Awards 2013.

The Purple one is set to be honored with the Billboard Icon Award at the May 19th extravaganza and will also perform at the Las Vegas event.

So as to celebrate the feat ahead of the show, the 54 year old features on the latest cover of Billboard Magazine, who he also sat  down for an interview with (click here to read).

Three weeks before she performs at the 55th annual Grammy Awards,  Rihanna hit West Hollywood on Sunday night to unwind at ‘Greystone Manor‘, later joined by ‘Wall To Wall‘ vocalist Chris Brown.

Hitting the venue one month before her 25th birthday, the ‘Let Me‘ singer was seen walking in and leaving alone some time after, while Brown was snapped leaving with a male friend as he readies the release of his sixth studio album, ‘Carpe Diem‘.
