Pop phenomenon Lady GaGa served up a smoking performance of her smash ‘Telephone’ on Japan’s Music Station show a few moments ago. While feature-artist Beyonce didn’t join her, GaGa gave an awesome live rendition of the song, which is currently #1 on the World Singles Chart (it literally gets no better than that!).  Peep the performance below…

Pop star Christina Aguilera recently sat down for an interview with GMTV on the set of her ‘Not Myself Tonight’ video. The mother of one opened up about feeling more sexier these days, as well as the reasoning behind it. Check out what the ‘Dirrty’ singer had to say below…

Peep pint-sized rapper Lil’ Kim, who was snapped while out and about in Los Angeles last night. After all the not-so flattering images we tend to see of Kim, she looked refreshingly good here. Now, if only she’d stay out of the surgeon’s office and get back to doing what she does best – make great music.

Tidbit: Kim stans; is she signed to a major label at present or have a deal in the working?

As reported earlier this week, Nicki Minaj has fired her manager, Debbie Antey. Now, reports have surfaced that the Hip-Hip phenom has hired Diddy and Rick Ross to manage her career. Diddy is best known for the mishandling of his Bad Boy Records label which was home to the now defunct girl group Danity Kane and Day26. {Source}

Here lies Nicki Minaj’s career: 2009-2010. R.I.P.

A new song from Fantasia has surfaced in the form of ‘Man of the House’. Produced by hitmaker Polow Da Don, the track is said to be lifted from the 25 year old’s forthcoming 3rd studio album.

While the production on this one is top notch, the same can not be said for the song more generally. Vocally, the American Idol alum is perhaps the most restrained she’s ever been on a record; while lyrically the song’s subject matter comes across archaic and dated. A decent effort (which may garner her some Urban radio play), yet our girl is going to need to come much harder than this to make folk sit up and pay attention.

Check out diva Mariah Carey posing it up at the 12th Annual Keepers of the Dream Awards in New York City last night.

The 40 year old songbird looked both classy and elegant. Here’s hoping the look sticks moving ahead…

Peep a glammed-up Alexandra Burke on T4’s new ‘KoKo Pop’ chart show. The Pop phenomenon stopped by the show, which airs tomorrow (April 17th), to discuss her new single ‘All Night Long’, and its accompanying video (which she confirmed will première next week).

Ms. Burke looks stunning! Perhaps the best we’ve seen her look before. More power to her.

The success of the Kelly Rowland-assisted ‘When Love Takes Over’ has seen French DJ, David Guetta, become one of the most sought-after producers in the industry. Indeed, your favourite model and mine, Rihanna, has tapped the hitmaker to produce tracks for her forthcoming 5th LP (due later this year).

While interviewing on a French radio station earlier today, Guetta gave an impromptu preview of a completed track he and the aspiring singer cooked up. Wanna hear it? Check it out below….

International mover and shaker Kelly Rowland rocked the crowd at Australia’s ‘Supafest’ extravaganza, which took place at the Melbourne Flemmington Racecourse in Melbourne last night. Rowland, 29, headlined the event (which also saw performances from the likes of Eve, Jay Sean, and Akon).

Check out some new footage of Mariah Carey, Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox in the studio. The trio are still in the early stages of creating Carey’s next studio release which has yet to be given a projected release date. Last evening, Dupri contacted noted producer Teddy Riley via Twitter who expressed interest in working on the LP. Riley, who has never previously worked with Carey, is best known for his work on Whitney Houston’s ‘Step by Step’, Michael Jackson’s ‘Remember The Time’ and Lady GaGa’s ‘Teeth’. {Source}

This is exactly what Carey needs. By working with producers that she has never collaborated with before, she will be able to create a fresh sound for her music and regain that artistic edge that separate her from the pack of her imitators. Hopefully, Carey will take herself to new places with this project and find the hit that she now desperately needs.
