They may not share the same (or even comparable) levels of talent, but the past few years have certainly seen their careers accomplish similar feats.  Chart dominance, successful tours, and fashion icon status alike, pop princesses Rihanna and Lady Gaga have mirroring careers that are continuously uplifted by their ever-faithful fanbases.  And while the Little Monsters and Navy have worked hard to keep both pop tarts atop many-a-social media tally, it appears the Navy is the group continuously sailing its commander to the forefront.

Baby, baby, baby! Seems to be the talk atop Hollywood headlines since ‘Love On Top’ singer Beyonce and hitmaker husband Jay Z welcomed daughter Blue Ivy last week.  Joining the list of well wishers showering the two with blessings is fellow celebrity mom Brandy.  Caught making her promo rounds in support of her season long feature on the BET hit series ‘The Game’, the Grammy winning songstress has fans in anticipation for a few deliveries of her own this year – a new movie, album, and duet with Monica.

As has plagued most of ‘Baby Boy’ singer Beyonce‘s pregnancy, rumors have swirled around the birth of  her newborn daughter Blue Ivy.  And while attempts to mitigate such by the well wishes of hospital staff members and fellow celebrities have come multi-fold, some fans are still not as easily convinced and have bombarded social media outlets with theories and even ridicule.  But, despite remaining mum throughout most of the ordeal, Beyonce’s sister, ‘I Decided’ singer Solange Knowles, decided to break her silence (much like family friend Michelle Williams) today.

‘Express yourself, don’t repress yourself’ – a motto pop queen Madonna has certainly built a career on.  Now, as time draws nearer for the unveiling of ‘Give Me All Your Love’ – her Nicki Minaj/M.I.A. assisted single lifted from her forthcoming album, fans can expect to see more of the music monarch on their screens.  First stop?  ABC News with long time friend/interviewer ‘Nightline’ host Cynthia McFadden.

The tell all interview, airing Thursday at 11pm ET, will see the controversial diva delve into many topics – namely a particular rumor that landed her under fire from faithful followers of pop eccentric Lady Gaga. As the ‘Vogue’ singer evoked a firestorm of press for allegedly claiming Ms. Germanotta was ‘obsessed’ with her, Madge remained mum – until now.

 Season 5 of The Game kicks off tonight on BET!

And by the looks of the cast’s promo run, the network are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to make this the show’s biggest series yet.

Case, point, their visit to The Wendy Williams Show this week, where Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall, and co, dished on what we can expect from the sitcom this go round, as well as the whereabouts of favourite Brittany Daniel (who played Kelly Pitts).

Peep this very interesting shot of Pop royals Beyonce and Jay Z leaving Lennox Hill Hospital yesterday, with their first child, Blue Ivy.

Reportedly sat at the back of the vehicle shown in the above image, the snap- which shows the ‘Single Ladies‘ belter’s bodyguard in the passenger seat- was taken by members of the paparazzi hoping to catch a glimpse of both Blue and her parents.

Unfortunately for them, they failed.

For, in what has been described as a ‘military like’ operation, the Carter’s were escorted out of the hospital with the aid of blacked out SUV’s and a team of security guards who blocked traffic on Park Avenue to stop the family from being followed to their residence in the city.

With the couple reportedly refusing to sell any photos of their child to the press, it may just be some time before the public gets to lay their eyes on this world famous baby.

Estelle is back!

Indeed, in a few weeks time her latest album ‘All Of Me’ will become available to fans worldwide and today, in support of the long awaited LP, the vocalist released its front cover.

The follow up to 2008’s ‘Shine‘, the project features contributions from Common, Janelle Monao and Akon and is expected to receive a heavy promotional campaign nearer to its February 28th US release (March 12th UK) .

Earlier today, footage of R&B upstart Teairra Mari recording her upcoming album surfaced online, setting the promotional campaign for the project in full motion.

Set to hit stores in coming months, the project’s success- if we’re really going to be honest- could reward  Mari with the stardom and notoriety some say she was robbed of back in 2005.
Or see her follow in the steps of many an R&B belle before her and face a perpetual struggle to convince the world that she is worth paying attention to.
