Despite having to face less than stellar first week sales with her album ‘Talk That Talk‘, Rihanna seemed to be in good spirits at the 2012 Grammy Nominations Concert last night.

Performing her smash hit ‘We Found Love’, the singer was one of the night’s many performers, joining the likes of Lady GaGa and Usher who also took to the stage.

The X-Factor USA is here!

Fox’s much hyped British import has finally kicked off on American soil and looks set to be the biggest show of its kind.

Featuring judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, LA Reid and Nicole Scherzinger, the show favours American Idol with its nationwide auditions. However, there is a defining twist in that groups and solo acts over 25’s are eligible to enter.

After weeks of auditions and bootcamp we now enter the live shows where the narrowed down top 7 are battling to advance to the next stage of the competition.

As is becoming the staple (and to whet appetites for the forthcoming ceremony), the biggest night in music is preceded by a nomination special to get fans geared up for its parent showing.  The LL Cool J-hosted event, set at the Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater, saw performances by Usher, Lady Gaga, Ludacris, Rihanna, and many others.

It’s that time of year again!

The 2012 Grammy Awards nominations were announced just moments ago. The 54th annual ceremony, which will air live on February 12th via CBS, featured singers Adele and Katy Perry as expected frontrunners for the nominations.  However, with fellow divas Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Rihanna all making splashes on charts in the last year, the stiff competition ironically saw Kanye West lead its pack with a whopping 7 nominations.

‘Marry the Night’ maestra Lady Gaga has definitely made her fair share of headlines for her latest union with Vanity Fair.  The issue, set to be the magazine’s first for 2012,  mostly includes shots by famed American photographer Annie Leibovitz as well as an eye-popping photo with/by ‘The Lady Is a Tramp‘ co-star Tony Bennett.

In the magazine, the singer also outlines the highly anticipated visual for ‘Night’ – the fifth single from her latest LP ‘Born This Way’.  Set for an exclusive premiere tomorrow on E! Network, the 13-minute video will be part of a 30-minute special dedicated to the singer.  Chatting with Vanity Fair, the singer went into great detail about its inspiration.
