Quirky Katy Perry has unveiled the official album cover for her sophomore effort ‘Teenage Dream’. Interestingly, the ‘California Girls’ singer specifically opted to feature no text nor logo’s on the cover.

‘Teenage Dream’ hits stores on August 24th.

The first shot of Jennifer Hudson‘s transformation into Winnie Mandela has surfaced. The Oscar and Grammy winner plays the wife of former South African president Nelson Mandela (played by Terrance Howard) in the big-screen flick, aptly titled ‘Winnie’.

Shot in South Africa over the last two months, the movie is expected to hit theatres next year.

Congratulations are in order for Eminem as he has just scored his 4th #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. The rapper’s ‘Love The Way You Lie (Ft. Rihanna)’ finally managed to dethrone Katy Perry’s’ California Gurls’ which held the top spot for an impressive 6 weeks. ‘Love The Way You Lie’ is the 2nd single single off of Emimen’s ‘Recovery’ album which is holding the #1 position on the Billboard 200 for a 4th consecutive week. The LP’s 1st single, ‘Not Afraid’, also hit #1 on the Hot 100 back in May. Again, congratulations to Eminem.

The video for the T.I’s ‘Got You Back (Ft. Keri Hilson)’ has finally surfaced. The clip features cameos from the rapper’s wife Tiny, Lance Gross and a very blond Keri Hilson. ‘Got Your Back’ serves as the official 1st single from T.I’s new album, ‘King Uncaged’, which hits stores on September 28th. With the buzz for Kelly Rowland‘s new material at all-time high, the 29 year old has revealed that her 3rd studio album will now be hitting stores on October 26th.  The record had previously been set to hit retailers on September 21st, however was postponed due to the Destiny’s Child singer hitting the studio with some of the industry’s biggest hitmakers.

Speaking of which, Rowland also confirmed that label-mate Akon will be producing on the as yet untitled album. The singer/songwriter  /producer joins the all-star cast who have collaborated with Rowland on the record – inclusive being Tricky Stewart, Ne-Yo, David Guetta, Rico Love, Bangladesh, Jim Jonsin, Ester Dean, Dr Luke and Stargate.

Keri Hilson made an appearance on ‘The Today Show’ early today to talk about her position as a new spokeswoman for Avon. The songwriter took the opportunity which she said she “wanted it to be as organic and as emotional as the first one” with the assistance of Timbaland, Polow Da Don and Danja.
