Quirky Katy Perry has unveiled the official album cover for her sophomore effort ‘Teenage Dream’. Interestingly, the ‘California Girls’ singer specifically opted to feature no text nor logo’s on the cover.
‘Teenage Dream’ hits stores on August 24th.

It’s obviously a still from California Gurls. Nice(and lucky) cotton candy engulfing her body. However, I do think some text should be added, just not some corny comic sans-serf type of font.
On second thought, this may be a painting, because if you look closely, the face doesn’t look too acturate, and the texture seems illustrated.
Look at her foot bottom. LOL.

it stands out, and it’s quite a beauitful image. do you really think putting a logo on it is going to IMPROVE it? i don’t see how it could, unless you’re a marketer and you want people to know exactly what they’re looking at but that is booorrring.

Interesting cover…, she’s quite a gimmicky artist in my opinion though so to not have a gimmicky cover is a brave choice. It doesn’t come across as ‘fun’ as her image suggests in general, I think the ‘s**-sells’ route is going to backfire for her pretty quickly though, from others it fits, from her it seems awkward… like it did from Avril Lavigne who she somewhat reminds me of creatively. We’ll see…
